This is a smaller, older hotel that is a good value. It shows its age in some areas: the lobby was inviting and had a great work area. They have luggage storage for pre check in or post check out which is essential to make the most of your time. The onsite restaurant was welcoming and above average.

Great location, nice shampoo and soaps, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was super friendly... However, for business travel, I'd be wary of privacy issues if you're having online meetings. The guest in the room beside me was a nightmare and got up at 5:30AM and talked on her phone on the loudest speaker setting to her relatives for an hour and a half. There was little to no sound proofing between rooms and I heard everything and was woken up. The elevators were slow but not a deal breaker. The cookies were fabulous.

It was in a good location, by Battery Park with places to eat nearby and you can also walk to the 9-11 memorial from there. Hotel was very nice and all I needed.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, able to answer questions asked. The free check in cookies were really tasty! The double room was nice, a little small, but clean (mostly). There was a water test on the day we arrived which shut off the water and when it came back on, there was dirty water that make the sink, shower, and toilet dirty. The sink didn’t get fully cleaned the next day (spots still showing from the water test). It was really quiet, which was nice, and check out was easy. There were 4 of us staying in the room and we were only given 3 towels, and had to call for extra each day, which was a little inconvenient. When we ran out of toilet paper it wasn’t replenished during the daily room clean, so we had to call for that too, which was also a little disappointing. Overall, a nice stay in a convenient location.
