It was confusing at first as I had not received the check in email and there is no front desk but very responsive when I called. The room and bed were very comfortable. Street noise but ear pluges provided was a nice touch. Great stay all in all.

We enjoyed our stay at EVH. It was close to our son’s apartment as well as the subway and great restaurants. The area was totally safe and the staff we did see were very friendly. It was nice having a kitchenette. A suggestion would be to provide maybe some paper towels for the kitchen area or more than one kitchen towel.

Love the location, and the hotel itself may be minimal but great value and surprisingly even includes a kitchen. It basically just feels like a studio in the East Village, which is wonderful to experience.

My stay at the East Village Hotel was excellent - the room was quaint and very clean. If you want an experience in the Village of NYC, then the location cannot be beat. The only negative I have is that if you want to store your luggage on the day of checkout, you either have to pay extra for a late check out or transport your luggage to another hotel ~ 1-1.5 miles away. This made for a tedious last day of my trip as it was raining and the other location was in the opposite direction of where I needed to be.

El hotel está ubicado en la zona de las universidades por lo que lo hace excelente, siempre hay gente y es seguro, cerca del subte y hay muchas opciones para comer. Es pequeña la habitación pero suficiente para lo poco que paramos. Sin dudas volvería a elegirlo porque se adaptó a mi presupuesto.

This was the sweetest little hotel in the most perfect location. The contactless model was honestly very efficient and seamless. It’s basically like having your own tiny studio apartment in the East Village.

The hotel was able to meet my request for a lower-floor room. The amenities in the room were fine, and the surroundings were relatively quiet. I had some trouble with the mini fridge. First I couldn’t get the door to stay shut, then after I got that worked out, it froze my foods. I did have trouble with the door lock. It is a keypad and I always had to enter the code several times before I could get the door to open. That was frustrating.

Our daughter is at NYU so it was a great location. It is a little more work with no lobby and being able to leave your bags but we paid a great price.

There is no person on staff at the property and so when our room lock was broken we were locked out in the hallway for over an hour late at night. Other than that it’s a decent little inexpensive nyc stay.
