Best hotel I have ever been in NYC

The hotel is very small and cute. The rooms are clean and very well decorated, with a lot of taste. It is in a very busy street but the windows are isolating you from the noise. Very peaceful. Highly recommended if you want great place and avoid the big touristic and expensive hotels with lack of taste. Great location.

Our room was exactly what we expected from the listing and the photos. Fantastic location so close to Times Square, Hell's Kitchen and Downtown. Although breakfast was being served in the restaurant next door because of refurbishment it was an excellent continental breakfast that set us ul for the day ahead. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Scherman. It has such a charming, boutique feel…small enough to feel personal, yet with all the comforts you’d want. The staff were warm, pleasant, and very accommodating. We arrived a few hours early from a wedding, and they graciously got us into our room ahead of schedule, which we really appreciated. On top of that, we received a complimentary upgrade to a room with a little terrace, which was so lovely and added the perfect touch of charm. The location is fantastic: quiet and peaceful despite being right in Midtown. It felt like a hidden gem tucked away from the hustle, yet steps from Broadway and all the excitement. We especially enjoyed the piano and showtune bars just across the street, which made for a fun and easy nightcap. All in all, Hotel Scherman is a wonderful boutique option in NYC, and we’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location especially if you are attending Broadway shows. Many restaurants nearby. Tucked away on a quiet street considering proximity to Broadway.
