The location of this hotel is prime, and unfortunately that is the only positive I can share. When it comes to room cleanliness, my experience was extremely disappointing and honestly alarming. The room was not properly cleaned at all. There was a used tissue behind the garbage bin, chip crumbs on the floor beside the bed, and thick dust everywhere—on surfaces, furniture, and counters. It was very clear that the carpets had not been vacuumed and the bathroom counters hadn’t been wiped down. I actually used a towel to wipe the counter myself, and the amount and thickness of dust that came off was mind-blowing. We called concierge and specifically asked for the room to be cleaned, yet nothing was done aside from making the bed and replacing towels. None of the actual cleanliness issues were addressed, which shows a complete lack of attention to detail. To make matters worse, I opened a “clean” towel only to find a brown/reddish stain on it. I’ve stayed at many Hyatt properties and have never had an experience like this. This is, without question, the dirtiest Hyatt location I’ve ever stayed at. I’m not someone who ever writes negative reviews, but this situation is not acceptable. The lack of care from housekeeping is very concerning and made me question whether the bed linens had even been properly changed—how can guests trust they’re sleeping in a clean bed under these conditions?

This hotel was very nice and a great location. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, close to a ton of restaurants and shopping inside Grand Central Station. With it being connected to Grand Central Station you have convenient access to the Shuttle to Time Square and the 6 train to go uptown and downtown. Will stay here again.

The people attending at the Market was so rude, nasty gross,with 0 courtesy and unprofessional all of them ,day and night.they should be removed from that position.this experience did no meet the standards I expected from the Hyatt,I’am a professional pilot traveling from eastbound to the coast of California and S to N every day and joining a mayor hotel brand such as Marriot ,Hilton and I never had a bad experience like this ,I believe will be appropriate to write an email to the Hyatt GM to mention all this issues,appreciate your review of this matter and any resolution your consider appropriate. Room service very good ! Front desk *** Hotel resort fee ridiculous $49 @ night no other Hotel in NYC charge that, hidden in my purchase contract with Expedia .they should tell me about it and I take my final decision pretty bad surprise at the end of my stay,hope Expedia review it to be continued as a client.

This hotel had the perfect location. Comfortable room. The $15 daily allowance at Market is a nice touch. Beautiful Xmas decorations in lobby. Nice hotel gym.
