We barely had hot water for the shower throughout our entire stay. I brought it up to the front desk and they sent someone to look at it, but there was no improvement. Also, they were doing some construction which led to sometimes 10-15 minute waits for the elevators.

Pros: the staff was wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating! Cons: it was incredibly cold in NYC but the heat in our room didn't work at all. We had to sleep in our winter coats. They came in the first night to try snd fix but it didn't work. Made for a really uncomfortable 3 nights

The room I received upon arrival wasn't heated - the termostat was not working. Because of this I was freezing the 1st night as I waited for the room to heat-up, until a message came up on the termostat at 3 am! The 2nd day I got a different room. I expected that rooms are inspected by staff to ensure they are in good order.
