The building is great and staff is very friendly and helpful. For a VIP hotel our room wasn't the greatest, and the rooms are not cleaned until much later in the day. One day we were out until 6pm and our room still hadn't been cleaned.

We had a great stay at Hotel Hugo, fairly priced and reasonable rooms. A little run down and in need of maintenance but good value for the location.

Christmas week. Great location but no parking or valet if there’s luggage or lots to bring in. Easy access to SoHo shopping and fun.

Not worth the price

The price and star rating made me think I was getting a very nice hotel room. The downtown location is good, but it is still a number of blocks from restaurants or a subway. My room was smaller than I expected and was not cleaned well before my arrival-- no toiler paper and hairs in the sink. The towels belong in a motel, not this level of hotel. I did like the coffee shop on the first floor.
