I loved my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect and really lively. The hotel itself was really clean and comfortable and have everything that I needed for my stay. I had a family member stay here twice before in the past so they told me about the club on the 14/15th floor and after reading the reviews I made sure to call the hotel a couple of months prior to my stay requesting a room as far away from the club as possible, I was located on the 8th floor, room 811 overlooking Orchard Street and the pool area of a neighbouring hotel. I did hear the club on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday but mostly just the bass, however even if this club wasn’t in operation, this area is incredibly loud over the weekend so it’s really up to you if you want a super quiet hotel then this is not the area for you. The one and only thing I did notice was the seal around the window in my room was quite worn away to there was some extra noise than usual but other than that it was an excellent stay.

We had such a wonderful time here. It was close to everything we wanted and out of the busy areas like time square. The woman at the front (drawing a blank of her name) but she was so kind and helpful. We needed a late checkout and she made sure that happened. We’d come back for the customer service. The rooms were spacious and clean and loved the look and feel of the hotel.

Pros: Room and bathroom were large and clean. Daily cleaning was well-done and timely. Advance request for room away from the club was honored- greatly appreciated! Cons: Took several attempts to get a maintenance issue addressed. Very “clubby” atmosphere throughout the hotel - definitely more party than relaxed atmosphere. Know that Ludlow street is LOUD, LOUD, LOUD. Three nights in a row of never-ending music, screaming, engines revving (what is that about?!?!), and sirens! If you’re touring NYC and need a good nights sleep at the end of your day, this is NOT the place for you.

VERY LOUD and "SCAMMY". The staff were pleasant and helpful, however. VERY LOUD. There is a club on the 15th floor of the hotel. The walls of our room were shaking on the 12th floor and my IPhone gave me an alert warning that more than 30 minutes at that sound level could be damaging to my hearing. The hotel moved us to the 23rd floor, but the sound was still distractingly loud. My wife, who sleeps like a log and is deaf in one ear and usually puts her good ear to the pillow, was still bothered by it. In short: If you intend to sleep, DO NOT STAY HERE FRIDAY OR SATURDAY NIGHT. THE SCAM. They charge an amenity fee but you get credit for in-room service and mini-bar. If you get coffee from in-room service, they charge $5 for the coffee, $4 for service fee and expect 20% tip. If you take anything from the min-bar, they charge a $1.50 restocking fee with associated tax. And, in our case, they tried to charge us for taking things from the minibar - which we took only because we were forced to already pay for it- that should have been deducted from our amenity fee credit. Is it too much to ask that you be able to sleep in your hotel room and pay for the use of that room and not be scammed with various fees that lead you down a rabbit hole of more fees, taxes and tips?

We had a great time!

We had a great time! The only down side is the pool was closed down for a private event, so my kid only got to go once, but everyone was friendly and accommodating otherwise. Nothing they could've done about them being busy! That's a great problem to have! We even extended our stay and we didn't even have to wait to get into another room. Thanks for everything!

I have stayed here before and this hotel never disappoints. The location is Amazing and the space is beautiful. The room was spacious enough for 3 of us and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and gave lots of good recommendations for food. It was rainy while we were there so we weren’t able to enjoy the rooftop views from outside we were still able to look out from the bar inside. Overall I will continue to pick this hotel as my NY go to.
