I had such a fun stay at Margaritaville Times Square for the one night I was in the city for Broadway. The staff I encountered during my time at check in, the bar (Tito was awesome, makes a killer spicy Margarita), the waitress I had at breakfast (really good omelette and potatoes) were all phenomenal. When I was checking out, they even asked if I required transportation to the airport. The hotel is very clean, the bed was comfortable, room was fairly quiet (mild honking from down below) coffee in the room is a nice touch. My only complaint is the water pressure was very low so my shower ran kind of long. P.s. My jerk salmon was very yummy! 5/5 super stay.

The hotel was nice. But the rooms very small. I paid for a city view and a corner window and the one that they gave me was a very small room with a half of window. Overall, staff was nice but not excellent, just the front desk. And the restaurant lady. Hotel is nice but is surrounded but a lot of people sealing drugs every time you go outside. I don’t recommended to go with small kids and walk around!

Overall Customer service is snotty and unprofessional, they charge you extra fees and don’t disclose or provide any explanation. The elevators took 5-10 min one employee even said they had waited an hour for one, for it to even open. This is common in the city, but good to mention because I wasn’t aware prior to booking , and it definitely impacted my stay. We were not given back our safety deposit, I called to question and was hung up on. They have claimed they sent it, and I had to make bankk. claim for my money back. I also booked a reservation at the main restaurant a month before my stay, and when arrived they didn’t have my table ready, and said “ohh yeah uhh i guess just wait here and we will get u one” too casual to care, they probably don’t even get payed enough to care. Overall so many little annoying things it’s like if u don’t care ab that then book it but i would not stay again.

I loved being able to walk out the door and be in the heart of the city. The pool was great and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately, there were a lot of little things that detracted from the property. The sheets had holes in them, the water pressure was horrendous and sometimes the water would stop coming out. Room service was not an option because of technical difficulties but that’s something they failed to mention until after I ordered food. It was fine but not fantastic.

The staff were great . We would have enjoyed a few drinks at the end of the day food and drinks were very expensive

Everything was amazing. Staff attentiveness and kindness, manager on front desk was lovely. Rooms. Views. Food. Pool. Location was 5*, i dont know how people can complain. It has a something extra to it, a little haven in times square for a cosy relaxing yet fun escape. just fyi - we were concerned about the complaints in reviews of people saying they didnt smoke in room and got charged... well.. we used the hairdriers etc and we were NOT charged for smoking. I truely believe people either put hairdriers on to try diffuse the smell... and the alarms must obv still pick up on that. So please be reasurred. As it did worry us if we used hairdriers that they would have thought we were smoking. Only other thing i could think of is if someone is smoking in another room out their window and you have your window open that the smoke could enter. But we had no issues at all. I would go back there. It was amazing. The views alone are wow. Thankyou Margaritaville for your hospitality 😀

Reasonably affordable, clean, and convenient hotel

this was a great affordable (by nyc standards) hotel in midtown. close to all kinds of convenience stores and subways. i recommended it to a friend as well!

Property very nice, clean and very nice personnel. However....morning #2 at 8:02am, the fire alarm in our tiny little room starts screaming, won't stop, won't stop. When it finally stops, it starts AGAIN. 20 Minutes later an announcement comes through the alarm speaker saying "the investigation is complete"....Investigation of WHAT? Then the announcement goes on to say that guests "should resume normal activities". All of the people on our floor(21st) who came out into the hallway had no clue why the alarm was sounding and asked if anyone thought the building was on fire! Not a good way to wake up on vacation. And then no information until afterwards?

Can't get much better!

Very comfortable stay. Rooms were decent size for NYC. Elevators were a little slow at peak times (and crowded by housekeeping) but overall not a huge issue. Restaurants were fun with generous happy hours and servers/bartenders were super friendly. Location was walkable to Penn Station and Broadway theaters. Subway lines on the block.
