I like the reception of the hotel. The staff are pretty friendly but this weekend that I went, the Hilton must have hosted children and teenagers from abroad and they were just noisy and horrible with the elevators. I thought I was at a Frat house again. The rooms were pretty well maintained except the handicap friendly room has a shower and when you run the water, escapes all over the floor. My stay was ok but not the best but not the worst.

This is the best hotel to stay in Manhattan. Unfortunately there was vast numbers of students on a conference that overwhelmed the hotel’s amenities and elevators as well as excessive noise at night. Amazing Hotel, just be careful when you stay.

The only thing I had a problem with was my shower was not hot when I needed to shower. Staff was friendly, room was clean. I just wish I enjoyed a longer shower.

Welcome to NYC - a $35/d charge to use the really poor ‘Herb and kitchen’ for breakfast/lunch - nothing fresh and ofc it doesn’t need to cos whether you use it or not it’s $35/d added to your bill. Very tired bar, one being renovated so not like you can use your $35/d there either. Oh and then to store a bag with the concierge that’s $5/item. I don’t get the psychology of the extra charging it ruins (even) a business trip cos it feels like you are getting ripped off. And that’s before you review the room that can’t seem to heat up (or cool down in the summer I suspect)….expect more from a Hilton

The hotel was overrun with hundreds of loud teenagers on a convention and they monopolized the elevators and lobby areas. Took forever to get an elevator to our floor. The hotel needed to have an adult monitoring the elevators so it was not a free for all.
