The location was good… and that was it really. As advertised, it’s walking distance to Central Park (5 min walk give or take). A lot of good restaurants in the area and close to a couple subway entrances. *** NO AC BETWEEN NOV-APRIL *** the room temperature was in the 70s and no matter how low you set it, it’ll only blow out hot air. We had to sleep with the windows open the whole time. The elevators broke once during our stay and one of the elevator doors wouldn’t open all the way. The staff was really nice.

We booked 2-Rooms with king beds and got 2 Rooms with Queens. One of the rooms had mold all over the bathroom and a small stall shower that mold came out of all the cracks when we took a shower. Mold all over the bathroom ceiling. The Costner desk assistant said they never book that room because it’s disgusting and needs to much work, which we could te. We requested a different room and a king bed (since that is what we booked), after the first night. We did get to move one room to a king bed room with a full shower, which is what we booked originally. The room was nice, however no bathroom counter space. The A/C does not work on November, it’s turned off, so we were really hot and did not sleep well. We requested the A/C be turned on in our room and we were told No, and were brought a floor fan. With no AC and warmer than typical week in November, the rooms were muggy and hot. We have stayed at this hotel at least 4 other times and have not had these issues. Unfortunately, this ruined out stay and would like to request a partial refund since we did not get the rooms and bed sizes that we booked. Our hotel experience was not great and we will not be staying there again.

Not one person working there pretended to be happy that we were staying at the hotel. The room was run down….. tears in carpet, refrigerator in room didn’t work, Electrical receptor in room loose and sparked. I understand there is no early check in available, but they don’t have a courtesy room to change clothes or freshen up after your flight, only very busy bathrooms. Only good thing about this hotel was the location.

The room was in very bad condition: the curtains were torn, the carpet was dirty and ripped, the air conditioning wasn't working, the doors were damaged, and the room looked dirty. We always had to wait several long minutes for the elevator.

This hotel is bustling with folks with long lines at check-in. The lobby is nice but the rooms are very dated & dingy. There's no coffee maker for hot water, which is pretty inconvenient... the luggage storage was helpful but again, long wait. Patience is the key for this hotel since the price wasn't terrible.
