For an annual family golf trip to Skibbereen we stay at The West Cork Hotel. It’s clean, staff are friendly and it’s in a good location. It’s also reasonably priced. Breakfast is good too.

Weekend stay

We had a lovely time. Hotel was clean, surprisingly quiet and relaxing. The staff were marvellous Dinner at restaurant was very good as was the breakfast. Hotel could do with modernisation but I would happily return to stay there again

This is my third stay at the property as part of a research trip. Everything about the hotel and Skibbereen is great. Service, food, location are perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

West Cork Hotel review

Lovely receptionist who was very accommodating upon arrival. Room was well presented and clean. Large double bed was comfortable. Bar and restaurant seemed busy however we didn’t eat there. Lovely breakfast with plenty options and the staff were very attentive. Plentiful car parking nearby. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring west cork
