The queen balcony is small but the view was awesome. The staff was polite, professional and accommodating. They allowed for an early check in around 10am and a late checkout at 12.30. I will definitely be back but not in July, too hot. (The AC worked great)

Good location but expensive. That being said anything in Manhattan is expensive. Right next door to 30 Rock. Hop on hop off starting stop close. Bus station close and of course subways always close. Room small but functional. Nice hot shower (not bath with shower curtain).

I’ve been to New York several times and always choose a hotel in Midtown. After staying at the Doubletree in Midtown unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. There are only 2 elevators for the whole building (including the staff). During our stay one of the elevators broke down for the entire 3 nights. We were on the 14th floor where we walked up a few times because waiting for the elevator took forever. On our second day we woke up to no water in the toilet, shower or sink. We were forced to brush our teeth and wash our face with bottled water. After always reporting this issues to the stay they would just simply apologize with no remorse.
