At one point I'm sure it was a good hotel, but only one elevator worked, the key cards never worked more than once, the beds were uncomfortable, the wallpaper was coming undone it the bathroom. Very small rooms. Staff was very nice though. Definitely walking distance to many places.

I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews online—Google and elsewhere—but having just spent six nights at Soho54, I can confidently say my experience was nothing short of excellent. The staff? Warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The location? Perfect—tucked away in SoHo, offering easy access to the city's best spots without being caught in the madness of Midtown. As for the rooms, yes, they haven’t been updated in a while, but they are clean, comfortable, and serve their purpose. Let’s be honest—you don’t come to NYC to sit in a hotel room. You come to explore, and for that, this hotel is a solid choice. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Don’t let the reviews scare you—sometimes, you just have to experience a place for yourself.

I wanted to stay in that neighborhood and the cost of the hotel was very reasonable. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. The cleaning staff was very thorough The front desk staff were not welcoming. They offered no discussion about hotel when i checked in and rarely said a word when i would walk by even when i would say hello and goodbye. There were zero brochures or pamphlets about hotel or the city in hallway or the room. I couldnt tell you any features even after staying there for a week
