Great location, very nice room, great size room for Manhattan. The room electronic keys did not work for anyone for 3 days. It was a royal pain having to go to the front desk and have someone unlock your room for you each time you wanted to get in.

The beds are extremely small, the shower floors are disgusting and look like they only pass a quick mop on them and never actually disinfect them. The grout is disgusting and it smells like mildew.

The key card reader for our room was broken so we had to ask a front desk worker to let us in every time we wanted to get let in. Also, neither TV inside the room worked. Overall, there was much to be desired from this stay.

BED BUGS & ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY I stayed at Tryp Times Square this week for a work trip, and on the very first night found live bed bugs crawling in my bed. I took clear photos and videos, immediately went to the front desk around 11:30 PM, and was told there was “no management in the building” at that hour, so no one could authorize a refund or cancellation. The best they could do was hand me a piece of paper with the general manager and owner’s contact info which, of course, turned out to be useless, since neither has responded to a single email. I left that night, booked another hotel down the street at my own expense, and have now spent days trying to reach anyone in management while they completely ignore me. It’s beyond unacceptable. For a hotel under the Wyndham name, you’d think they’d take a health and sanitation issue seriously, but apparently customer safety isn’t a priority here. If you value your sleep, your belongings, or literally your skin, do not stay here. This place is filthy, disorganized, and run by people who disappear the second there’s an actual problem to solve. I travel for work constantly and have never experienced something this disgusting or unprofessional.

Stayed here end of October, it was close to MSG, which is what we came for, but not too far from everywhere else. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, food on sight. Room was ready early and was able to check in. There is construction in front of building and dark walking to hotel, but never felt unsafe once.

It’s ridiculous how much money for one night we had to pay and the hotel is literally three stars. Not clean, nothing fancy about it, we arrived at 1:50 and our room was ready but they charged me extra money for “checking in early”. Ridiculous $600 for one night but nothing special about the place. And on top of it parking charges for 2 full days just because we left parking garage 2 hrs later later instead of just charging me per hour
