Gets one star because staff tried to hustle me out of my 2 queen bed room on arrival. Saying there was maintenence issue with my room and zero 2 queens were available. They tried to put 3 guys in one king bed. Wife called and pretended to book a 2 queen room that was available on online, then when called out they gave me the original room i booked. Also they complained i didnt have to pay the resort fee because i used expedia . Great location, not a bad hotel but horrible staff and practices.

This is a mixed bag review. Thank you for trying. However. . . I Arrived at the property at 8:00 pm only to be told that my room was not available due to some water leakage but that I was booked at hotel 2 blocks down. Mind you, I was told this after my ID and credit card was run through the system. I reluctantly went to the other hotel with the person at the desk to what was a lower category hotel. The alternate hotel was $100 cheaper than the one I booked by Wyndam still charged me the full price. Alternate hotel elevator wasn't working - carry your bags up 5 floors. No communication during the day on this matter - this is the kind of thing that could have been dealt with early in the day. While I appreciate the alternate booking, this was the most unprofessional way to deal with a hotel matter in the 31 years I have been traveling. Front desk did their best, this is a management issue. If you can't honor the room then book your guest at something better, not something worse. Picture is of the alternate hotel bathroom.

The man checking us in was not friendly and smirked at questions I asked him. He never answered the questions. He just stood there smirking and telling me what I needed to do. I will not stay there again, and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

They take a copy of your credit card (in addition to authorising a withdyof $150. They also charge $27 "resort fee". This is the most BS thing I heard in a hotel in NYC. What resort!? Don't go there!!! I will take this up with Wyndham HQ!

Went down to see a Mets game, hotel near the train station, subway and our restaurant. Loved the interior design of the lobby, nice bar w great cocktails. Staf very courteous, helpful and friendly. Would stay again!
