Meant for a night’s stay, not for the long haul

While the hotel is located in a decent area of the city, the standard room was very small and did not include any necessities such as a refrigerator or shower door. My key card continuously shut off and the overall condition of the hotel was adequate to say the least. If you are visiting for a night to see a Broadway show, then be my guest to stay here. However, if you are looking for a weekend trip, spend elsewhere.

My only complaint was the elevator, or lack there of. Only one out of three was working during the majority of my stay making getting in and out of my 12th floor room time consuming. The staff was excellent! The room was comfortable and clean.

Nothin g worked at this place from the A/C to the shower faucet, the creaked the elevator took for ever and only one ever worked out of three, parking the car is super expensiveensive.

Great room and location, poor A/C

This was the only property in the area in our price range that had both a queen bed and bunk bed set up - very helpful to have the extra space as a family of 4. Hotel was centrally located and overall quiet even in a noisy area. A/C unit did not get cool enough even with repairperson coming twice to look at it, the room was cooler than outdoors but still warm all night. Elevator was very slow but stairs were available. A “do not disturb” sign would have been nice - every single morning housekeeping pounded on our door between 7-8am asking to clean it - we were on vacation and still asleep!

Disappointed

Terrible experience... first the room was not as described or even remotely close. Second there was no soap or shampoo in the bottles in the room ... after complaining for two days... at the front desk because could not use the room phone as it had no cable connected to the wall outlet and was useless... promptly took the soap and shampoo dispensers off the wall and left them on the middle of the bed and that finally incentivized the refill. Only one elevator worked for the days there, the front desk person we dealt with (woman middle aged-European I think) was very sarcastic and unapologetic which was not pleasing. No matter the cost or location I will not return here r recommend. Dissapointed.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They cleaned your room daily. The first couple of days, they only had one working elevator. After that, all three elevators were available. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the best hotel in New York All the staff are fantastic especially quentin he is beyond helpful The rooms are lovely and its in a fantastic location. A 2 minute walk to Times square and a 10 minute walk to central park and pier 88 When i come back to NYC later in the year i will definitely be staying here again .

We had to switch room twice first time the family beds were not properly secured to the wall, room was dirty. Second time we believe there was bed bugs. They moved us rooms when we notified them and thye did reduce the price. Staff were amazing hotel is in a good location except for the fire hall right beside it.
