One elevator was not in operation. The elevator skipped out floor multiple times going down. Long lines for the elevator going up. Unfortunately only 6-7 people fit if no luggage was considered. The shower handle was loose to the point it would just fall off. Bathroom is very small. Air conditioning chilled well half through the night and then seemed to only blow air. So blankets went on, and blankets came off multiple times a night.

Disappointing, even for an older hotel

The condition of the hotel was pretty bad. One elevator was down and I was placed on a top floor. When I got to the room, the a/c didn’t work, multiple lights and outlets did not work, and the space felt more cramped than other NY hotels. They moved me to a new room but, other than the a/c working, most of the rest of the issues were still there. The overall experience was very bare bones and basic maintenance seems to be an afterthought.

Great location, friendly staff. Housekeeping staff were polite and very thorough. Open shower completely soaked entire bathroom, and there was water damage. Elevators were so slow, often skipping floors or stopping on every floor for no reason. All in all, it was perfect for our needs.

Room was clean, but the hotel itself hasn’t been maintained very well. Location is excellent. Affordable option for a quick trip, but I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a night or two.

We stayed 5 days with no working tv because they said something was wrong with the cable. We didn't find out until after we checked in. Also the week we went was cold and rainy and we didn't find out we couldn't control the thermostat until after we asked about the heat. Pros: The location is very convenient to Times Square, subways, the MOMA and Bryant Square. The bed and bathroom were clean and shower was good. Cons: The rooms are small and cramped and wall paint is peeling. I got a second room that was better than the first. The 2 elevators that work are slow and temperamental. TV service stopped working for one day. The lobby, hallways, and rooms desperately need to be remodeled. The bellman would not help me with my bags without cash up front. Coffee maker is the only amenity. No free water. The charging plugs are old and not great.

Do not stay in this property. They will continue to book rooms even when there is issues with the type of service they provide. They should be ashamed of themselves that they say they are a part of the service industry. A freaking joke of a hotel in a lovely area.
This was the 2nd room they moved me to. I was in room 1022. This was room 1027.
Room 1027. I have videos of the 1st room, disgusting to say the least. The only key card they gave me was a piece of paper. I did not feel safe even to leave my room to get food. And they had multiple elevators broken. No excuses.

When I arrived the room key system was down, they had to have a staff member ride up with each guest to let them into their room. Only one elevator was working. The bedside light in my room was broken, literally falling apart. I will not stay here again.

This property is located in a convenient location and close to main attractions and transportation stations. Check in and check out was very smooth. The room was clean and comfortable. Amenities and basic necessities available. I suggest looking into changing the shower head in the bathroom to avoid flooding the floor. It would be nice if the rooms had a mini refrigerator and a safe box. We encountered only one elevator functioning and it was very slow. Stairs were available, but for people with needs is not an option. I will definitely stay again in this hotel.
