It was good value for money with a decent breakfast included in the price. Although the bedroom was small it was not an issue for us as we spend only the sleeping hours there. The staff were cheerful & helpful. The road was busy traffic wise so opening the window meant a fair bit of noise. The site opposite is due for redevelopment but was an eyesore.

Ideal for centre and a super price.

Very happy yet again with my stay here. Superb price too. Staff welcoming and room on low level and clean. Love how this place is so close to the city centre and can leave my car for a fair price. I will be back. Thanks.

Very nice hotel, room was great, bed very comfy. Only minor issue was that there was some weird stain/droplets of something on underside of top bunk above my head when i was sleeping in the bed below.

car park was difficult to enter, with limited parking, £10 for 24 hours shower smelt damp and a bit like sewage, no proper bathroom - shower and sink in room with separate toilet cubicle not bad for the price, one night was enough

I had a double room for myself and my mother. The room was quite small for two people with barely enough room for me to open my suitcase. I also found the bed to be uncomfortable. The bathroom was also quite small with hardly any counter space. The hotel was quite modern and the room and hotel nicely decorated. My major issue was the lift. We stayed at this hotel for two weeks and only one lift was operational the entire time. Not to mention that the lift could only safely occupy no more than eight people at a time. So for a hotel with 14 floors I found this to be quite inadequate

Great value and location.

Located about 20 minutes walk from the event I was attending at The Flapper pub. Also, only 20 minutes walk from New Street station coupled with the cost made this an ideal place to stay. If you are attending the O2 Academy then this would be a fantastic location.

Not a bad budget option for an overnight stay. The rooms are very small and the decor is reminiscent of a hostel, so you can tell you're slumming it a bit. Our room was clean but had a bad smell whenever we flushed the toilet. The cleaner was promptly able to offset it for a little while, but could not entirely resolve it during our stay. For an extra fee, there is a decent breakfast buffet, and also the option to order pizza 24/7 which may be worth it considering the delivery times following a concert. The hotel is a short walk from New Street through the vibrant China Town and Gay Village, with plenty of interesting shops and restaurants. As with most UK cities, I would still be wary walking around the area at night. The best part of this hotel are the friendly staff who are available 24/7 and remained polite, upbeat and helpful even throughout the night.

A very small place, would only recommend for solo travellers or groups of two in a room. Some of the staff were also not that attentive. I had asked for extra bed sheets and was told by the receptionist that some sheets would be brought to our room in 30 mins. I waited an hour before heading to reception again to follow-up. The receptionist had forgotten my request and said ‘oh yeah, what room are you again’ We also saw some silverfish in the room, so if you’re someone who can’t handle bugs, this may not be the place to stay.

Staff were very helpful but some components weren't the best if i'm being picky. If you're going for a short stay it's fine but if for comfort there are better places. However, for the price, it's okay for a short stay.
