We liked everything - the quirkiness of the room with a wall of book shelves and books, a giant mirror leaning against the sall; didn’t mind that we had to call when the hot water didn’t come up, we liked the hotel very much. What we didn’t like was when we checked out, were told that as we had prepaid, we could just go. Days later, we were charged $57, calling the hotel, I was told that there was a facilities charge of $25 per day, pus tax.

Rooms were roomy, but far from a four star hotel. We had a two bedroom two bath couldn’t get out to use the balcony because the door was broken. We had a two bathroom had a broken toilet never fixed while we were there. I informed the staff and the staff shrugged it off. Otherwise, the day was satisfactory.

Great Hotel for Families/Location!

This hotel was great for my husband and 7 yo son. So accomodating, friendly, and a great location to many site seeing adventures. When we checked in it was raining and we had about 2 hours to kill before check-in. They offered to give us all hotel umbrellas for the afternoon and even upgraded our room before we arrived at no additional charge! This hotel is within walking distance of Central Park, 5th Ave shopping, the Plaza Hotel (for a drink in their Champagne room). Rockefeller Center was only 5 blocks away from FAO toy store, LEGO, and Nintendo store. Top of The Rock was sooo much better than I thought. Hotel was quiet and so classy for a boutique hotel off the main crowded roads. Room was huge in a 1 King Suite with a FULL KITCHEN! Microwave, stove, fridge, dishes, silverwear, etc. You name it, they had it. Robes, slippers, daily house keeping. You name it. Would most DEFINITLY stay here again next time!!
