Excellent location. Comfortable bed. Good value for money. For us personally, the absence of breakfast at the hotel was an issue. There are cafe options in the area, but the good ones are frequently busy and have no free seats available.

Do not expect too much. Service is just okay. You can ask them anything and you will get answers, but you do not feel welcomed or happy to be there from the vibes of the guys in reception. Location of the hotel is great for Central Park, midtown, subway and east river accessed. Rooms are okay. Big, and not completely awful, but so noisy. We were on the rooms facing back of the hotel and did not have one moment of silence. The venting system are right there and so so loud all the time, night included. Plus noise from the hallway is easily transmitted into the room. Water was not refilled daily, which I expected for the money spent. But the service level is just non existent. They were not even interested in if we had a good time when checking out. Not bad in that they are horrible, just not interested I think. Which depends on what you are using the hotel for.

Close to 5th Ave and Columbus circle. Rooms are super spacious and clean. Staff are super good. Most if the attractions in Manhattan are walkable or through subway. Lot of dining options. Highly recommended this place.

Service Animal

As anyone with a Service Animal is aware, no one can ask for or require the handler of a service animal to provide documents or ID or proof of the service dog. The front desk staff is not aware of this and stated to me that unless I provided written proof or documentation, that they would be charging me a $75 per night “pet fee”. I was able to have a very good conversation with the manager the next day and now they are aware of what they can and can not do and of what they can and can not ask relative to a service animal. So alls well that ends well. Great place to stay. Will be my new go to when I travel to New York!

Stayed in a balcony room which was large and very comfortable. Sidestreet facing, great view and quiet! Staff very helpful and friendly. Brought our dog - the room was great for her but absolutely no areas to do her duty outside within many blocks. Will return but maybe without the pooch.

Just discovered this GEM

The room was exceptionally large for NYC. We had a foyer, living room and gigantic bedroom. Bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and shower. Everyone from the doorman, to the front desk to the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in NYC.

Large space in a great location.

Large rooms which is a big plus for NYC. More like an apartment than a hotel room. Location was good, walking distance to many landmarks. The reception area is small, there is no bar or much seating, however the corridors upstairs are nice.

La estancia en el hotel fue muy linda, más allá que nos asignaron de entrada una habitación que no era la convenida. Sin embargo, la hora del reclamo, nos cambiaron con mucha amabilidad. Las camas comodisimas, la habitación linda, pero la limpieza era solo un repaso. Estuvimos 9 noches. Y se notó. Volvería. La zona es hermosa y práctica.
