Overall this property was disappointing.The day we checked in we were greeted with a very unfriendly and condescending clerk. He was less than helpful, rude and disrespectful. This in turn put a bad taste in our mouth. On the other the baggage service man David was wonderful, as was all the cleaning staff. We payed extra to say in a corner king suite and being from Vancouver Canada this was our trip splurge. We were exceptionally disappointed to be on the 5th floor with a view of nothing but some office building. I would have hoped to have been facing the river on the 15th floor or above, seeing as I wrote in the requests we were celebrating our anniversary and my 40th Birthday.
We would not recommend The Standard High Line nor would we stay there again.
