Wonderful service with a view.

The hotel is ideally situated, close to midtown but just far enough off Times Square to be quiet. The staff was friendly and very available for questions. The view was great, the bed was comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. This will be my go-to spot in New York.

Decent But Frustrating Stay

No personal interaction at check in at kiosks. Initial room provided was dirty. Had to lug bags back downstairs, which entails going to a mezzanine and then to the lobby, each time going up or down to rooms. Lots of city noise and I ended up on the top floor. I didn’t need service in my room as my stay wasn’t very long and housekeeping removed my do not disturb sign and cleaned my room, twice. The only positive was that it was close to my destination for work.

When I first checked in I was approached by a greeter who assisted on helping me check in. I paid for early check in and when I got my room it was something out of a nightmare! The room smelled like straight bleach! Decor destroyed, sheets dirty, shower I wouldn’t even step in. I went to the front desk waited a while, however the manager tried her best to make the situation better. Got me a room with a view. However I wouldn’t recommend, too many hoops especially after a 6hr flight..just if you could go somewhere else then do it. I changed to this one from the Hilton last minute because I thought to try something new…

overall the property is mostly as described however the fixtures (sink and shower) were not very clean, had rust on them, and were loose. The towel warmer on the wall was broken off and didn’t function at all, the book lights near the bed were both loose and to the point of falling if not propped up. There was bugs all over the shower (12 small bugs i couldn’t identify and 2 mosquitoes) if i could add pictures id be happy too as i took many of this semi pleasant experience

Room was dirty on arrival. Front desk was okay to deal with but management are useless. You call for assistance. They create a ticket. Promise to call you back. Never do, even when you follow up. And then they hit you with fees. There are better options out there. Give this one a pass.
