Loved our stay - stayed in a private room with my partner. The location is AMAZING so close to the beach and was able to walk to all the restaurants and bars. We even had an ocean view! Staff were very lovely too!

I had a private room. It was very quiet, had a fan and lovely view. Location is close to the beach and park with a quick walk to city centre. It’s a grand old building with lots of charm and very comfy bed. Dream sleep. Bathrooms clean.

The location is excellent. It's close by to the light rail station and bus stop. It's also close to the beach! Plenty of dining option nearby. The facilities are also great. I especially like the lounge area. Most importantly, I feel safe staying there as a solo female traveller. Feedback: The pillow case and the blanket in my single room has stains on them.

Good base, nice atmosphere

The place is clean with good facilities and a nice atmosphere. Minutes from shops, places to eat and the beaches. It’s an old building so can be noisy- windows rattle, pipes scream, floorboards creak and the rooms need to have slow shutters attached- doors slam all night. Good communal areas and friendly, helpful staff.
