We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Francis Malbone House in Newport. Every encounter with the staff was pleasant and we felt welcomed immediately. I’m not sure which was my favorite but we loved both daily tea time and the over the top fabulous breakfasts. I loved the history of the House and how it fit into the history of Newport. We loved how the house was warmly decorated for Christmas. I would love to make a stay here an annual event.

The inn is very charming and well kept. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always checking on guests' comfort. The afternoon tea and goodies left out for guests is such a nice touch in the afternoon. Plenty of sitting space with fireplaces, books, games, glasses of wine. We loved walking out the front door to find ourselves on Thames street with boutiques and restaurants.

The breakfast and tea times were wonderful. Free parking around back was a huge convenience. It's in a very walkable area. Staff was super friendly. Lovely center courtyard and sitting rooms. Lots of fireplaces in use and available in our bedroom too. Beautifully maintained inn. We would definitely stay there again!

An excellent Inn conveniently located close to the seafront in Newport. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, the rooms were of a good size and exceptionally clean. The breakfast had a lot of variety with healthy options. It also had parking which is at a premium in Newport. It was so good we stayed a second night.

We loved our stay! The staff are so nice and accommodating! Toby made check-in so easy and was so informative of the property and amenities. Afternoon tea was really nice and breakfast was excellent with great hot options and buffet. Sue was so lovely. We enjoyed sitting outside in the general courtyard and our own with our room The Inn is right on Thames street and close to shopping and dining. It’s a nice oasis and reprieve from the busyness of the street. We would highly recommend and would stay again!!
