Staff was excellent. However, you have to pay for valet when the parking garage is attached to the building. No ice machine. Elevators definitely need service. The bistro was too expensive for packaged food. The room was ok but the fridge wasn't cold enough. Definitely not Marriott level.

The staff is wonderful. Check-in was a breeze and very courteous. Diana at the bistro made my evening by correcting my meal. It made all the difference after a long drive from Charleston, SC. The room was clean but could stand a bit of updating. Furniture is a bit beat up. Beds were not made to Marriott standards, even if it is a Courtyard. For downtown Norfolk, I expect a bit more.

it was a bit old and i didn’t recieve my full deposit back even though nothing was broken or stolen as a matter of fact we straightened the room before we left so i could get my full $100 dollars back

Ice maker on our floor broken. Furniture worn and stained. Young man who checked me out was not friendly at all. He never said anything, not thank you, have a nice day, nothing! 25.00 valet parking seems a bit too much but it was so cold and we didn’t want to walk from parking garage.
