My fiancé and I recently spent a few nights at this beautiful hotel by the water in Old Saybrook, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The cleanliness throughout the property was flawless — every space felt fresh, spotless, and well cared for. It set the tone for a relaxing and worry-free stay. The amenities were fantastic. We especially enjoyed the spa and the cozy common areas where we could unwind together. Everything was thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious and peaceful atmosphere. The dining experience was another highlight. Every meal we had was delicious, with fresh ingredients, creative menus, and warm, attentive service. Whether it was breakfast with a view or a romantic dinner by candlelight, the setting made it all feel extra special. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the view. Being right on the water, we were treated to stunning sunrises and serene evenings. Sitting together on the balcony, watching the sunset over the water, was one of the most peaceful and memorable parts of our trip. This hotel offered the perfect mix of romance, comfort, and beauty. We had an issue at check in. We booked the delux room and the hotel said they were sold out of those rooms and that they have issues with Expedia bookings frequently. We were given a room across from housekeeping that was noisy and extremely small with only a skylight window. The overall resort is beautiful and they invited us back for 1 night in the delux room which helped the experience.

Very relaxing few days

Room was very big & spacious. Bathroom was very nice EXCEPT shower/tub was small with curtain. Should be glass door. Balcony & view of Marina was very nice. Service everywhere on the property was superb.

Saybrook Point is a beautiful spot. The resort was great, service at restaurants was friendly but slow. Very nice stay, expensive but nothing much included in the price, even coffee tough to get.

It has been some time since we stayed at Old Saybrook Inn. This was not a pleasant stay. Our room was right by the lobby. And therefore we heard noise all the time the bathroom sink was plugged up. The chairs were stained. Our breakfast meal at Fresh Start was as poor. It has been 10 years since our last day. Unfortunately, this will be our last
