The property is generally very pretty and nicely situated on the marina. I have nothing positive to add to that. Unfortunately, our room overlooked the gorgeous water, which is also where the hotel's patio is located. The patio closed at 10PM, but they left the pounding music on until dawn. We got ZERO sleep because of the thumping beat. We complained to the front desk at checkout about the noise and he told us it was supposed to be turned off after closing, but they must have "forgotten." For a hotel of this caliber, this is unacceptable. We were told "so very sorry." That was it. We will not stay there again. Terrible customer service.

Our recent stay at Saybrook Point Inn was lovely, and we especially enjoyed our engagement anniversary dinner at Fresh Salt. The only area for improvement was the wedding reception on Friday night. The music and vibrations from the ballroom kept us awake until 11 pm, which is past Old Saybrook's 10 pm noise ordinance.

We love staying here, particularly for the fact that most of the rooms have a fireplace for use! Unfortunately, this is the third stay in a row where we have been unable to take advantage of our favorite amenity bc of the wind. Perhaps they should look into converting their fireplaces to gas so that guests can enjoy their rooms as intended. The Inn is nice otherwise, but being stuck inside due to bad weather is much more pleasant with the addition of a cozy fire.

Saybrook Point is lovely and super easy to find. The indoor pool and spa and sauna/steam room are amazing. The property is very clean. Our double, with a view of the lighthouse, was huge. Staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! P.S. Walking over the Fenwick Causeway is great and just steps from the property.

This is a beautiful property with a great location, delicious dining and fun and relaxing entertainment. We stayed on a Thursday night, enjoyed lunch and dinner at Fresh Salt, and then music in the ChooChoo lounge. We love the history of the place, and enjoyed walking the causeway, even in foggy and cool weather on the first day of spring. Our daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the spa, the pool both outdoor and inside. We would stay here again, very friendly and relaxing. Every staff member we met was friendly made us feel welcome.
