If you are looking to get out and explore, you are a short walk from the Five Lakes trailhead and just one mile from Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. In the evenings fire up the woodstove, and enjoy gathering in the first-floor great room. The tranquility, charm, and unique style certainly make for a great Tahoe getaway location.

The expansive floor to ceiling windows, its long farm-style dining table, wood stove, spiral iron staircase, and vintage craftsmanship evoke the feel of a Tyrolean lodge. The mountaineer shuttle will pick you up at this location and drop you off at Alpine Meadows during ski season.

* We provide a starting supply of toilet paper, paper towel, and laundry detergent, but recommend bringing extra for longer stays.
* We do not provide shampoo / conditioner / or body wash although there could be some left from previous guests.
* We recommend 4 x 4, AWD, or carrying snow chains in the winter months.
* There is no air conditioning in this rental.
* There are spiral stairs to the 2nd and 3rd levels of the home which may not be appropriate for smaller children or elderly.
* We do not guarantee firewood and suggest purchasing a bundle at a local market.
