From the minute guests arrive at the secure and gated Tuscana Resort orlando, they will experience the magic of this special resort which is beautifully landscaped with lush planting and a private woodland. Tuscana Resorts has received the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for 5 years running!

Located 10 minutes from disney world and overlooking the world famous champions gate golf course, this resort is equipped all the amenities to ensure an enjoyable stay; a large swimming pool complex with separate kiddie pool, hot tub, fitness center, bbq areas, picnic tables, and complimentary wifi. There are restaurants and stores located less than a mile away such as mcdonalds, chili's, subway, pizza hut, publix grocery store, and walgreen's drug store.

This condo is as good as new! It has been fully renovated with brand new modern furniture and televisions (Oct 2016). The master bedroom boasts a brand new king size bed with a new 43 inch flat screen tv. The second bedroom has 2 brand new twin size beds with a new 43 inch flat screen tv. The living room is equipped with a new 55 inch tv, dvd player, and new pullout sofa which sleeps two. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, granite counter tops, and new plates and utensils.
Improvements since Oct 2016: The unit is now stocked with laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, hand soap.

My rating is based on several things….1. The listing needs to be update. The furniture is stained and worn out. When you sit on the couch you sink straight to the pull out mattress underneath. All the dinning chairs are covered in stains. 2. The owners are very adamant that you not wear shoes in their house, fine no problem. However the floor is damaged, not new. 3. The unit sleeps six but there were only 4 towels to use, 4 bowls, 4 spoons etc… might want to think a little more there. 4..The hosts were very adamant about their pool towels if used to be returned. Keep in mind the towels look like they are about 15 years old and only 2 maybe 3. 4. The worst for me was when I walked into the closet and the walls and ceiling was covered in mold. Know, I would never put this online for a review but when I reached out to the host the only response I got was thanks for letting me know. To me mold is a big deal. Luckily it was isolated to the closet and we could close it off. Just meant we couldn’t use the items in the closet which was an inconvenience. Overall it was a nice stay but could have been better. The location is great and the unit is spacious enough for four people. I would definitely stay at this community again. We had a small issue with something and had to reach out to the Property Management team. They were great.

The property was ideally located. It is a 4th floor unit which would have been nice if the elevator worked. I was traveling alone with my daughter and had to carry our luggage and golf clubs up and down 4 flights of stairs. The owner said he didn't know, but it was obviously out for quite some time.

Great Stay

The property was as advertised. The check-in was super easy. When you check in, but you need pay attention the signs on the building when locating the condo. The kitchen was nice. It had your basics. We left behind salt, pepper, and a small bottle of olive oil for the next guest.The two bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. It would be a perfect condo for a family of 4 based on our stay. My daughter said, “It would have fit our family perfectly.”

Decent but not “award winning”

First the good - the condo was clean overall aside from a few particulars. Location was nice but Tuscana is definitely a quieter resort with no real amenities for families with kids. Mark, the owner, and Cris, the property manager responded promptly to an issue with one of the beds which was greatly appreciated. Now the bad - I have high standards when it comes to cleanliness and upkeep and chose this place bc the pictures and title made it sound really great. Unfortunately, the condo itself needs some TLC. Dining chairs are dirty and stained, couch didn’t look very clean either. There’s a broken floor tile in the guest bathroom that was hidden under a rug and could injure someone. Twin bed broke the first time my son laid on it. Doors and floors are showing lots of wear. I did request that all linens be washed prior to my arrival due to allergy issues and those looked great and also much appreciated. I wasn’t sold on “award winning” but would give it a 3.5/5 due solely to the need for cleaning and repairs.

Comfortable and close to everything

The property was just like the pictures and better. The bed in the main bedroom is so comfortable and soft! We weren’t at the property a lot during our visit because we went to Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs which were close by. We were only able to go the pool for about 30 minutes, but it was like being in an Italian courtyard. We ate at Texas Roadhouse which was only minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 3 weeks. It’s a lovely resort in an awesome area that felt very safe. Davenport has lots to offer,Restaurant and shopping and close to all the amusement parks. Cons: sofa was very uncomfortable And Bathroom floor in twin room needs work

Orlando get away
