Excellent hotel in a great location within easy walking distance to the historical old town. Breakfast was great with lots of options and having a pool was great given the heat! Room was quite small but that's the only negative and there was so much to do in the city that we weren't there much anyway!

The room and pool area was ok. The breakfast was terrible, a very poor choice and it was impossible to get a bed by the pool. The toilets in the lobby were disgusting and they were very rarely cleaned. There was a horrible smell from these toilets and there was rarely any toilet roll available in these.

Not the best

Ok, where to begin! I stayed here for 3 nights and upon arrival our room was double booked so after some confusion the staff sorted it. The room we were in only had 1 power socket in the bathroom so we were attempting to charge our laptop and phones from the single socket! The bedding was never changed and we had to request new bedding however it still was not changed. The mini bar fridge could not be plugged into the socket which didn't work anyway. The phone didn't work properly either. Half the reception staff couldn't be bothered but the other half were really helpful, breakfast is on for a good few hours, taxis are readily available, there is a nice walk along the sea but there are boulders between u and the sea. Food is good there and there is a small outdoor pool too which was nice. Overall it is not the worst place to stay if all ur after is a room with a bed and some breakfast bug if u want more then look elsewhere!!

Worse hotel i have ever been to.

My mum and i arrived at the hotel with our big suitcases and no one to help us with the steps. Once at the reception they treated us as if we were some kind of terrorist not hello welcome it was give us your passport. then a key was handled they didnt tell us on which floor we were or nothing else about the breakfast or the hotel amenties. Once in the room i was literraly disgusted hairs in the bath and the smell of urine from the shower curtain was horrible. the toilet seat was dirty. We had a balcony and there was a lot of debris from the cracked ceiling falling onto it. I went back to the reception to tell the manager and he looked at me and shook his shoulders as if well what do you want me to do. he then said ill get someone to clean it. we left the hotel only to come back late at night and the room was in the same condition except for the debris on the balacony were swept. the next morning we went for breakfadt which was really nice once we went back up the room had been srviced but the only thing that was done was the towel were changed and the bed was bearly made we were completely shocked. we just left and spent the whole day and night out. the next day we cheked out and the only thing thst was asked is did you take anyting from the mini bar ? as i already paid in the full for the hotel i just left. i wished i never stayed ther and could actually get my money back as the only god thing there was the breakfast. bad staff and very poor hygiene.

Good hotel with nice pool

Rooms are clean, the standard is good, reception speaks english. Breakfast buffet is big (beside cereals, breads, eggs and meats there are also sicilian specialties, gluten free bread, soy- and lactose-free milk). The pool area is charming and has a good service. The pool restaurant offers small dishes during the day and more plates at restaurant times. waiters at pool restaurant were not the nicest. Spending the morning at the pool was a great way to start your Palermo day. There is no beach for swimming around but a nice promenade for walking and watching yachts. For the beach you got to get a taxi, 15mins or two buses, 30mins to get to mondello beach. For a day trip take the train at stazione centrale for Cefalù, a beautiful village with a huge white sanded beach > 50mins by train. The hotel is just next to Foro Italico, a nice avenue with three or four restaurants and gelaterias. One of them should be the oldest fish restaurant of the city. In the evenings you can eat fresh moules et frites.
