Great overall experience. Service was outstanding. Everyone went out their way to make my stay enjoyable. Food was top tier. Usually all inclusive resort buffet food isn’t that good. Planet Hollywood Costa Rica 🇨🇷 buffets were really good. Food was good at the restaurants as well. Like all resorts I have visited lately, the alcohol was watered down. Star class alcohol wasn’t much of an upgrade in my book. Night life was good also (Shows and night club). 2 swim up bars at the pool. Hotel needs to invest in new towels and cushions for pool lounge chairs. Definitely will return in the future.

Hate the fact that star class “VIP” was treated like they where better then us by getting serve faster get reservation faster and also I was not even offer that service and we paid a lot of money to stayed there and was treated like 2 class we did have good employees that went out of there way to make us feel welcome and good Wendy from the food buffet and Nestor the bartender from the pool.

I had read so many mixed reviews of this property, but I found it amazing. The staff was always very accommodating, nice and wanted to help you however they could. I traveled as a solo female traveler, and I felt very safe, and meet others throughout the property that made my stay awesome and have found some friends to travel with in the future. I will definitely travel in the"low", "rainy"season again, as it was perfect. It literally only rained two days, in the afternoon, for about an hour. I also do not recommend Star class as I was able to do everything I needed on my own, and saved money. Highly recommend this property.

The property was beautiful but house service went into my even though I had the do not disturb sign on the door. House keeping stole over 200 dollars out of my wallet. I felt unsafe and disappointed with the lack of concern with the security and management.

I recently stayed at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica and overall had a wonderful experience. The highlight of my trip was definitely the amazing staff interactions—everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to make the stay enjoyable. Their service really stood out and added a personal touch to the resort. The resort itself is beautiful, and the atmosphere is lively yet relaxing. The only area I felt could use some improvement was the restaurant reservation process—responses and availability weren’t always smooth or timely, which made dining a little less convenient than expected. The food quality was good overall (a solid B+), with plenty of variety, though a few dishes didn’t quite match the resort’s otherwise high standards. Despite these minor issues, I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend Planet Hollywood Costa Rica for anyone looking for a fun and vibrant getaway with excellent staff support.

Average resort, Decent for the value

This resort is typical for what you would expect from a 3 star average resort. Food options limited, same buffet every day, very limited room service food. Ive never stayed at an all inclusive where you can't order alcohol to your room. The entertainment crew lead gentlemen remembered our names and treated us extra special!! He was amazing! The other room servive and food staff weren't very flexible to order things differently than the menu specifically even though they had the items.

Everything you need is in resort! The PH staff are incredibly. I feel as though I became friends with Nayan “Barbie”, Christopher, Chris, Gilbert and all the eager to please and smiling staff. The various restaurants from around the world (5 plus 24 h buffet and poolside Guy Fury’s burger and fries) and the plethora of drink options (alcoholic and fresh alc. free juices) at your disposal was incredible. From the applause you receive as you are welcomed to the hotel plus the purple drink they hand you, to the super fun swimming pools and cabanas, endless food and drink, to the daily pool games lead by hotel staff with stamina and heart (we played most of the games and won some prizes 😊) to the well optioned daily activity trips outside the hotel organized by NexusTours, to full Beach access and monkeys in trees, and where you can pay much less for an amazing massage from local businesses, to the variety of evening entertainment on stage performed by very skilled dancers and singers…then to coming back to your room from a day by the pool to find your room cleaned and fully stocked. The only downfall, is that it’s too far from town or anything you may want to do outside the hotel. We are a family of four, and we were not ready to leave. Both me and my youngest daughter, 10yrs, were especially sad to say goodbye. Trying to find ourselves back to Liberia, Culebra Guanacaste Costa Rica, very soon. ❤️

En primer lugar dar un excelente a los trabajadores del hotel en general por su profesionalidad y trato a los huespedes y sobre el hotel otro excelente porque realmente todo fue genial y me fui con nostalgia de este hotel y con los deseos de volver porque sus trabajadores son como si fueran tu familia algo que nunca olvidare, Recomiendo este hotel porque creo que no encontraran un todo incluido como este.
