The Cove at Atlantis
3/5 Okay
"PROS: great location, beautiful beaches, many restaurants on site, MOST of the staff were friendly, easy to get to the other Atlantis hotels
CONS: one beach staff literally took our umbrella from our lounger that we got up early to grab to give to another patron because she complained about not having one (because she came to the beach late) - obviously this would not be a problem if they had enough umbrella loungers! But there were so little of them and half of them were broken; WE WERE LAYING IT IN WHILE HE TOOK IT and ignored our protests.
The check out staff was so short when I asked if the large deposit they took during check in was applied to the total balance that we owed during check out; she spoke to us like we were idiots.
The spa. If you are renovating then perhaps don’t be open for business because you don’t know this until you show up and it is not in the spa area and you have zero spa amenities; it was like a doctor’s office.
The sulfur smell and taste in the water…drinking water, washing & bathing water. "
