Three of us stayed in the deluxe room with three beds. The room was very small. Very little room to walk. Elevator could only fit two people and two suitcases. Check in is at 3 we arrived at 2:45 made us wait the 15 minutes. Got charged an additional tax that I had to pay befor check in that was not aware of. Room was clean but had a moldy smell.

We’ve been stopping at Des Mines for more than 20 years and since its makeover it has just become better and better. Comfortable rooms, very pleasant staff and lovely continental breakfast.

The Hotel des Mines is a wonderful place to stay in Paris. The rooms are very comfortable, and the little shower rooms are fine. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also close to the delightful Luxembourg Gardens. Our only regret is that the hotel doesn't have a kitchen. We enjoyed the breakfasts, but did walk down the boulevard a couple of times to have a hot breakfast. I would happily stay at the Hotel des Mines again!

Very convenient to transportation to all tourist site. Negative was the air-conditioning didn't work. We told the front desk two times without improvement. Upon check out commented again on how hot it was and had to sleep with window open and listen to street noise all night. The clerk said oh we regulate that down here. Sad

The hotel was generally smart, tidy and clean. Our third floor bedroom was quiet, fresh and clean also. The shower was a bit small for a very tall man, but hey. Recommended.

Easy access to airport

Staff was very nice. Hotel was in a great location near the RER line to the airport, so it's a pretty convenient place to stay if you have an early morning flight. Room was clean and quiet. I would stay here again.

A very good and reasonably priced boutique hotel in the 5th Arrondisement near Luxembourg Gardens. Continental breakfast is excellent. Our one complaint was that there was almost constant street noise from passing police cars and ambulances on the Blvd Saint Michel, many of them apparently on their way to the nearby Palais de Justice.

Cosy hotel near Luxembourg Garden

This cosy hotel is a gem: premium location and friendly customer service. I asked for an early check-in and they were happy to accommodate my request, despite being a bank holiday. It was a nice surprise.
