I had a generally good stay at Le Patio Bastille. The room was comfortable, and the price was quite fair for the location. The staff were polite, and the hotel is conveniently located for exploring Paris. However, as a Platinum member, I was promised a bottle of wine in my room as a perk, but it was nowhere to be found. This was disappointing.

We arrived 45 minutes before check in started. They were happy to store our bags until then. Check in was easy and quick. The property from outside and the lobby looked really good. We asked about the Expedia gold benefit of a free bottle of wine and they informed us it was already in the room. We also got our room upgraded without asking which was excellent. We had a kitchen with fridge and microwave. Room was big, tidy and cozy. Staff was great. We stored our bags till 5pm. Check out is perfectly at midday. Area outside property looks a bit shady but nobody bothered us. Also, really good location within 10 mins walk of 2 subway stations. Would go back! Highly recommend.

Room was in desperate need of repair. Bed and bedding was clean and comfortable but wallpaper was peeling and bathroom needed updating. Also at around 10:30pm a member of staff persistently knocked on the door waking me and my young children, attempted to open the door (at the same time that I did so not sure if he would have managed) all to give us some untequested toothbrushes. This alone has put me off staying again as I’m not sure if he would have walked in whilst myself and my two young children were asleep if I had not heard. Dining area was also not that clean. We attended at 7am so must have been the first for breakfast and there was food bits on our chairs. It was overall ok for the pitstop we needed it to be.

This is my 3rd time staying here and I love the location. Very close to a metro/RER station and social area. Hotel could use some upgrades but otherwise it is perfect for me.

We were supposed to be on the 5th floor but the elevator was out of order so we were offered a room on the ground floor instead. My husband had an injured ankle so we accepted that option. Reluctantly. It was called an upgrade as the room was bigger. The extra bunk beds did not do much for us. The only window faced the inner court yard where everybody could look into our room unless you drew the curtains shut which made the room dark. Because of lack of elevator there was a lot of foot traffic. Also - at dawn (!) - the rolling suit cases over the cobble stones in the court yard woke one up. A dark room in the morning ... that's sad. Also, the breakfast room has no windows, is small and was so packed that moving around was very difficult. The staff is super friendly, the available parking was extremely helpful and appreciated.

I had the best experience staying in Le Patio hotel. The room was huge for myself. Thank you so much if it was an upgrade. Everything was extremely clean and I loved the natural courtyard. I will come back for sure.
