Club Quarters has a lot of charm and is in the perfect location—right in the heart of Center City, which made getting around super convenient. The lobby was beautiful and well-kept, giving a great first impression. The room itself was very clean, and I appreciated the complimentary purified water stations on each floor. That said, the room was definitely on the smaller side, and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. The sparkling water feature, which I was looking forward to, didn’t work during my stay, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you want something clean and well-located, but be prepared for tight spaces and a firm mattress.

This has been such a frustrating experience. I just completed a 3-night stay at Club Quarters Hotel Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia (May 30 - June 2, 2025), and everything went wrong. The worst part was when a fire alarm went off at 5:30 AM on my last day. They made us stay in our rooms for an entire hour - wouldn't let us use the elevators or stairs! Then it just stopped with no explanation. When I called to ask what happened, they just dismissed it as "a mistake" without even apologizing. The staff were consistently rude, especially about laundry. They wouldn't give me enough detergent, and nobody told me the washer was a combo washer/dryer unit. I ended up having to get on my flight with wet clothes! There wasn't even a bathroom available in the lobby during check-in and check-out, and they never changed our linens during the stay. I've been a loyal Expedia customer for years, and I really just want a full refund for this terrible experience. Now they're telling me I have to contact the hotel directly because it was a "Pay Later" booking? I specifically asked the Expedia agent (Jenelle) to handle this for me - I really don't want to deal with that hotel again after everything that happened. I'm still waiting to hear back from Jenelle about whether Expedia can work directly with the hotel. I just want this resolved and my money back.
