Brendan checked us in and he was very professional, wearing a golf shirt and a name tag. The pool water was cloudy and the hot tub wasn’t very warm. We had drinks at the bar. My first 2 vodka & cranberry tasted like they were watered down. My 3rd and 4th were poured from a newly opened bottle of vodka and were normal. I went to the front desk to tell the manager and she was defensive and unprofessional. Her name is T and she was wearing a shiny black puffer jacket with no name tag. She and the bartender offered me more alcohol, but what I asked for was a new room because my companion was so intoxicated and was snoring extremely loudly prohibiting me from falling asleep. He’d had 4 manhattans. T refused my request and didn’t even look to see if another room was available. I checked my BAC and it was .1, which is very low after having that many drinks. As a former bar/restaurant owner, I thought they would want to know that someone may be tampering with the alcohol, but my issue is with the manager T, who was unprofessional and refused to even check if another room was available for me to get some sleep.
