My stay at The Residence Inn was incredible! When I checked in, Ty upgraded my room and let me check in early after I had been traveling for almost 24 hours. I was upgraded to a suite with an amazing view of City Hall and Love Park all decorated for the holidays. During my stay, the staff was so courteous and helpful. Housekeeping was fantastic, and my suite was always clean and stocked. The day before checkout, I asked about checkout time, and since I didn’t have to leave for the airport until 3 pm, Zara gave me a late checkout, which I greatly appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Residence Inn and will definitely stay again when I return to Philadelphia.

Friendly staff greeted me at the counter, really well kept room, our room had a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, cups and dishes, dish washer and kitchen sink, it was basically a mini kitchen, only complaint is it’s a noisy intersection and you can hear honking from the 10th floor. But I’d stay here again.

There was water on the bathroom floor when we arrived. The toilet was leaking. Instead of issuing us a new room they sent someone to fix it. The hot water in the sink did not get hot for sometime. You had to let it run for a long time. A really long time. Aside from the issues with the bathroom plumbing the room was nice.

Room was very clean and I loved the full sized refrigerator- I was able to freeze goodies to take home! The shower had a strange swinging glass door that only covered half of the tub, so water splashed out and it was very cold as it left the steam out. All staff were very pleasant.

Clean, convenient hotel downtown near Reading Market and City Hall with the Christmas market. Breakfast is fine but limited options, hotel bar seems to be permanently closed, need to walk to restaurants for meals (but there are many within a few blocks, some quite good).
