The decor was very understated and calming, which was a soothing relief from the many hotels out there with overly flashy decor. The appointments and appliances were well placed and everything functioned well, which I cannot say for all hotels. The only negative was that I requested a wheelchair to get my partner out to the car at checkout because with advanced Parkinson's, she had a bout of immobility and could barely move. I did manage to get her out to the car using her walker, but it was exhausting and very stressful, causing our stay to end on a bit of a sour note. There are many potential situations where having a wheelchair would be of great help to some older infirm person struggling with a momentary affliction, as long as the hotel sends a staff person along to make sure the wheelchair comes back. A lot of older people travel to AZ.

We were there for spring training. It was convenient to get to the needed freeway to get to our game. Tons of shopping and dining within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Only complaint was the beds were not very comfortable and the walls were thin.

There was a security light outside the building above our window. All night it felt like it was morning. We couldn’t sleep at all. The hallways smelled of weed throughout. Mostly construction workers staying there.

I did NOT like the lack of an ice machine. Also the clerk who checked us in - Friday 2/21, 4:30 PM - programmed our key cards incorrectly and gave me attitude when I complained about not being able to get into our room the next day.

Our stay at this establishment was marred by several issues. Although the location was desirable, the staff's behavior was excessively rude. Furthermore, the room's condition was unsatisfactory, with clear evidence of uncleanliness, including urine on the toilet seat and a cockroach in the bathtub. Photographic documentation supports these claims. We vacated the premises the following day and incurred significant expenses to secure alternative accommodations due to limited availability. I am entitled to reimbursement, but the establishment has yet to refund the charges on my account. Their response to the situation is unacceptable. Moreover, we have filed a police report regarding an incident involving a naked individual in Room 130, who was subsequently arrested. The presence of this individual, especially near our children, was extremely disturbing. We were forced to relocate to another hotel, which, although not ideally located and undergoing renovations, had pleasant staff, but that is a different story. We attended a family wedding in the area and missed several events due to these circumstances. The lost time and expenses can never be recovered. As Californians, this experience was particularly stressful.
