We recently stayed at the Andaz in a one-bedroom suite and, unfortunately, our experience Review of Andaz – One-Bedroom Suite did not meet expectations. Prior to arrival, we specifically communicated our for the room setup, but none of these requests were acknowledged or fulfilled. The staff interaction, especially during check-in, was somewhat awkward and lacked the genuine warmth and friendliness we’ve experienced at neighboring resorts. Given that we were traveling with a young baby, we expected a more attentive welcome. However, I must acknowledge one member of staff who thoughtfully gifted our son a camel toy several days into our stay. It was a kind gesture, though it highlighted further the missed opportunity by the original check-in team to create a positive first impression. The room itself was well-equipped with kitchen utensils but lacked a basic item—a chopping board—which was quite inconvenient. It’s surprising that such a simple yet essential tool was overlooked in the room’s setup. Our primary reason for choosing this hotel was to enjoy the facilities, particularly the pool area. Unfortunately, the main pool was out of service during our stay, and we discovered upon arrival that children are not permitted in the rooftop pool. Everything was perfect apart from the food. The breakfast buffet did not stand to the five-star level of the hotel. The omelette bar was the only kiosk that performed well. The pastries were soggy and tasteless. Other foods like fava beans, balilah, labneh, bread were near disgusting. The beef bacon was always over cooked, hard and dry. The coffee was horrible. We also dined at the Lebanese restaurant there one night and again inedible… such a shame for a beautiful place. Still rated five stars because the place and staff deserve it.

This hotel was beautiful, we really enjoyed our stay and the hospitality from the staff in general made us feel like home away from home. Loved the decor and the variety of restaurants/ cuisines that they offered. It's a little far from downtown Dubai but it's worth the experience. Highly recommend it.

Great hotel but hard to sleep

Great hotel. But they congregate families in rooms next to each other and had a few sleepless nights due to interlocking rooms - the noise through the doors was terrible.

The property was exceptional. I have never had a better customer service. Everything was on time. The room was cleaned twice a day. Everyone was very respectful, the workers made sure they asked if we were satisfied with the services being rendered. OMG! The food was the highlight of our stay, the breakfast buffet had everything you could think of. I can’t wait to do this again next year.
