This was my 2nd visit to this property. I enjoyed the 1st time so i returned few years later. This time it was dingy, under staffed and pool was dirty. Noone cleaned the pool each morning like ppool

Great place to stay and budget friendly. Walking distance to Xcaret Park and centrally located to many excursions. Buffett food is 6.5/10. Restaurants are 7/10. I will be returning and I highly recommend this resort.

CHOOSE another RESORT. This property has wonderful people who work hard. The owners definitely have not invested in the property to maintain a standard I would expect. Very low budget accommodations. The pool has missing tiles and was very worn. The jacuzzi looked very dirty and non functional. Many chairs are broken. The buildings have a severe problem with consistent air conditioning. The staff turn off the electricity in your room multiple times a day (it seems from the key card control in our room). The air conditioning was out for multiple buildings while we were there and staff was slow to change our room. We rented 3 rooms for our big party. The showers stink and the drain seems clogged in many of the rooms. Two of 8 of our party got severe food poisoning but they have a pharmacy on site so that is helpful. I would add a few things to the packing list: diarrhea meds, anti puke, pepto and maybe electrolytes. They only had pedialyte at the pharmacy. We were grateful for the staff. They are hard working and very kind. Be careful though, they definitely have day passes and multiple times they tried to seat our party in the dining area outside and there was ample space inside and later we saw the “day pass holders or time share guests for a day” come and enjoy the buffet and it seemed they were saving the inside seating for them.We were firm on requesting inside dining. Also if you upgrade to deluxe plus, the pool seats fill up so fast with “saved” seats. Book elsewhere

The food options are terrible and got everyone sick during our stay with over 60 guests. You can't get any good quality food until dinner and you have to have a reservation. Pacos Tacos and La Piazza are open at the same time and those restaurants were decent but you only have them available at dinner. The buffet

This resort is perfect for families with children. If you do not have children with you I would not recommend as the resort does not really have adult activities. The adult pool still has kids at it and no swim up bar for the adult pool. There is also no walk by drink service at the adult pool. Most the restaurants were mediocre on food. The service was great at the restaurants. There are many animals at the resort which was fun to see. Again this resort is great for Kids. We were constantly corned for a time share which became a bit annoying.
