The building itself is located in an unsafe area with lots of homeless around but convenient to the Expo Center. The room was clean but had an ant infestation. The interior was updated but the bed was not comfortable (hard as a rock!).

Modern, clean and budget-friendly

I stayed here during a business trip in April 2025. I was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the lobby/cafeteria and the modern amenities in the guest room. Everything looked new and was kept clean. I had a room on the first floor and my only (minor) complaint is that outside my window, there were loud people in the parking lot even into the early morning hours. Later, I saw that police had arrived. It wasn't a big deal but this is an "extended-stay" hotel, after all. You never know who is going to be here. Overall, I'd say that this is a nice place to stay. The staff is cool and the place is clean. No strange smells or sticky floors. No gang members hanging around. The continental breakfast is as minimalistic as it gets but at least they sell Rockstar energy drinks in the vending machine.

Nice and clean

Nice, clean room with big refrigerator and cooking facility and friendly front desk attendant. They offer free breakfast, but this huge hotel put out 4 little cups of yogurt, 4 cupcakes, 3 oranges and about 8 packets of oatmeal. I was there @ 6am both days so i didn’t get there after all the goods were taken. They did have plenty of coffee still when I left for work @ 6:30. They appear to have security in the parking lot. It is in a sketchy neighborhood, but the grounds looked good and I had no worries. I would be happy to stay there again.

There is some construction in front if the hotel, so we missed the entrance the first go-around. The front-desk team could use some remedial customer service lessons, as they were not very welcoming. Twice I had to wait several minutes for the rep to stop working on whatever their taskwas at tge front desk before they would assist. Breakfast was advertised, but was severely lacking. It was supposed to last until 9:30 am; I went down at 9 and there was coffee and two granola bars left. One of the crew added a couple more granola bara and packaged muffins, but thats all there was. That said, the room and facility seemed clean. Overall, I can't honestly recommend this place, especially as Portland has a LOT of other options.
