What a fantastic hotel find, we chose this hotel on the ebookers site using the map and what a find, if you are visiting Prague then this hotel is just meters away from everything... We found a yearlong market within 20 mtrs of the front door, the main square is 5 mins walk and the large museum is 15 mins walk. The rooms were comfortable they leave coffee and tea on a table in reception so you can have a warm drink when you return... The breakfast was great with a cooked section and cold meats, cheeses and fruit and yogurt and cereals to. The staff are friendly and were always there to answer questions... The only downside I would say for the whole experience is the reception and hotel is on the first floor and there is no lift so you have to take the 25 steps up to the hotel.

Nice hotel in prime location

This hotel was clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location. Good value for money and would reccommend for students or young travellers on a budget. Only complaint was that central location meant it was very noisy and from first floor rooms loud music could be heard until late at night during peak times.

Fantastic Romantic Getaway

Myself & boyfriend arrived on 1st - 4th of April 2014 for a short break away when arrived at hotel we were greeted by a very polite gentleman who offered us a double beautiful room,which was absolutely spotless, decor slightly dated & would request an iron&hair dryer for the rooms, I asked & recieved so no big deal,hardly any reason to lose points..hotel is centre of prague with Charlesbridge within 3 min walk prague castle 15 min walk..plenty of al fresco restaurants with amazing food but highly recommend the local goulash Yum!! Only thing I found expensive in both hotel & prague is there refreshments. Not a great shopping city so maybe travel out a bit further unless u want souviners.. Bars to check out "O Ches" staff so friendly also "The John Lennon Bar" again staff & location great.. Beautiful architectural city.. Definitely highly recommend Hotel Melantrich who needs 5 stars when u feel home from home.. Definitely be back in 2015 see you soon guys & thanks for your hospitality xx

Excellent.

Perfect location, close to and equidistant from the Astronomical Clock and Wenceslas Square, and easy walking distance to Charles Bridge, Jewish Quarter and Municipal House. Varied and tasty unlimited buffet breakfast (cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses, sausages, different pasta/rice/potato everyday and different "Danish" pastries and breads every day, etc...) No frills accommodation but very clean, plumbing working well if a little noisy, beds comfortable. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Need to explain that hotel starts on first floor. Was myself with limited mobility in this trip but managed this ok. Hotel personnel rearranged room booking so I had no further stairs to climb. Just one thing, from an English person's point of view - no tea / coffee facilities in the room. But I am French and didn't mind.

Weekend break

Was very happy with the hotel. Hotel is fairly basic but staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice. Location was excellent, very central.

Aina ystävällinen henkilökunta paikalla, toiveet toteutettiin, mukava ilmapiiri. Erinomainen aamiainen, hyvä kahvi. Tuoretta leipää olisi voinut olla. Hyvä sijainti.

Metroasema,ratikkalinja ja nähtävyydet lähellä

Pros: Hiljainen hotelli,kadunääniä ei kuulunut huoneeseen,hyvä sänky,henk.kunta eri ystävällisiiä,tosi hyvä aamiainen

Cons: Huoneessa ei ilmastointia,jiten kesällä varmaan tosi kuumaa,tosin ilmantuuletin näkyi olevan huoneessa.

Location: Astronominen kello, Kustaansilta,metroasema,ratikka. Suosittelen 3päivän lippua,mikä käy metro,ratikka ja bussiin. Eläintarha hieno

Hyvä sijainti! Ratikka 22 kätevä liikkua. Petrovin kukkula mainio picnikpaikka,varsinkin kun hissi oli huollossa,kun kävimme siellä.

Hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla

Pros: Sijainti

Cons: Aamupala, huoneet aika vanhoja.

Location: Sijainti oli hyvä ja kävelleen pääsi liikkumaan sujuvasti.

Kolmen päivän täsmäloma Prahassa, joten hotellin sijainnilla oli iso merkitys. Tämä sijaitsee todella hyvällä paikalla ja tästä pääsee kävellen näkemään parhaimmat kohteet. Hotelli oli aika vanhahtava sisältä ja sisäilma oli tunkkainen. Suihku ja wc oli kuitenkin uusittu ja kaikki toimi hyvin. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja puhui hyvää englantia. Aamupala oli aika suppea, mutta pari leipää ja kuppi kahvia piti pahimman nälän poissa.
