Upcoming area of Prague

Pros: City views from high level and access to public transport
Cons: Deep cleanliness of rooms
Location: Historic Vyšehrad area is close by with nice views over the Vltava river and the city
Panorama in its day was a tall building at 24 stories, but new developments around it including the eye catching V Building and large scale shopping malls show a lot of money is being invested in the area. There is good access to the Metro C line and 18 Tram route plus buses. The Panorama has a certain 80s style of fading luxury, now eclipsed by ultra modern, minimalist style of new build urban hotels. With 600 rooms there seems to be a growing reliance on coach party trade to keep occupancy levels up. However, staff in all roles throughout are clearly well trained, efficient and helpful, which is a credit to the management team. Breakfast is rather uninspiring, unchanging and immediately forgettable. Taking these factors into account, including underlying room cleanliness, the Panorama should realistically be viewed as a fading 3/4 star establishment no longer in the same league as its nearby neighbour the Corinthia,

Business like hotel which does the job.

The hotel itself is very good and the room was clean, well maintained and up to standard for a business theme feel. The only gripe would be that the air conditioning is poor - it was 24 degrees during our stay and the room was quite stuffy despite the inadequate 10 degree temperature setting blowing out ambient air and just making a racket making it difficult to sleep! Apart from that the room was great. The staff were generally friendly but were somewhat robotic and lacked some interpersonal skill in customer service. It took a while for the receptionist to check us in after much computer typing, form filling, form signing, 50 Euro deposit paying which I have yet to see be returned to my account which I will be chasing them up for as I was told when paying the city tax bill when checking out that the deposit would be returned to my account. The staff at checkout lacked some customer service and she was just rather drab! I felt maybe better English proficiency and informal customer service training would definitely have benefited the reception staff. The restaurant seemed very expensive compared to local restaurants so we did not go.

Close to the park and shopping centre quiet place

Pros: Staff are very friendly and care taken are very effectioncy on their job
Cons: Check out room at the reception was too many people to check out and does not know which will be the faster way to wait and people just wonder aroundi
Location: Good park to walk and run Chinese Restaurren is near by and the big shopping enter was just behind the hotel. The pool and spa was nice to go in
Have to figure it up how to get to Hotel it will be good if the hotel provide information of how to get to them by bus and tram. It is too expensive to take a Taxi to the Hotel cost Euro 40 by public transport cost less than Euro 4 euro. The time taken is not long . Take a tram to the bus station only 15 minutes then the bus to the airport is less than 30 minutes.

A good hotel with exceptional staff

A 10 minute drive to the Old Town, the hotel is exceptionally clean with good services. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and could not do enough for the guests. It is 2 minute walk from the shopping areas. At first I was a disappointed as the location was a further out than I originally had wished, however the services of the hotel and the most welcoming manner of the staff made this a very special vacation. The Bell Captain Filip was an absolute delight and really went that extra mile. I will definately return to this hotel

Nice hotel with good location

Pros: Comfort and location
Cons: The bath and shower gel lacked quality. The hotel can provide a kettle for making tea and coffee
Location: The Arkady mall is just across the street. The metro station is also a couple of hundred metres away.
It was a wonderful experience. Staff was polite and the room clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Weekend city break

Stayed at the Panorama Hotel Prague in September 2015, found the hotel to be fantastic value, with easy public transport links to the city centre nearby. Hotel was spotlessly clean although the rooms were slightly dated, the bed was very comfortable and had everything required to ensure a pleasant stay. Prices at the hotel were more expensive than city centre, but only to be expected. Staff were well tuned into customer needs, and always willing to help. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to go back for a return visit.
