"Had a one night stay whilst visiting friends near Ripon. The hotel was easy to find and check-in was very straightforward. Our room was very well presented and modern. Very comfortable bed and plenty of tea and coffee with complementary biscuits. Bathroom was clean, ample towels and hand-wash, conditioner and shower gels were higher-end than you would expect. Room overlooked the sizable gardens which were well kept. Evening meal was excellent from a good choice of dishes. Good choice of beers too. I must compliment the staff who were always cheerful and efficient, from the cleaning ladies in the rooms to the bar and waiting staff. Nothing was too much trouble which was noticeable and such a pleasant change from other hotels we have visited. The decor was also excellent. Made the stay feel very comfortable and relaxing. Well done to all - we will be more than happy to come back."
