Basically one dirty chair on the balcony. No coffee maker in kitchenette. No face cloths. Missing cushions. To the resorts credit, they did remedy things. It was clean. Although it was all inclusive, there were few choices of restaurants. Reservations were required for the few ala carte restaurants and they were kind of difficult to obtain. On the positive side, staff were friendly and accommodating.

Stayed here 8 years ago and had a completely different experience. They bought the failing villas Vallarta and made it part of canto, so when you book on Expedia be warned you’ll probably be in a room across the street. Our room smelled of sewage and we had to get an employee to verify it stunk before we got another room. Housekeeping didn’t really clean our room, didn’t do the dishes (we have no problem doing them but there’s no soap or sponges so we bought our own).Ceviche bar had a hair in my husbands meal.Food SUCKS, buffet is awful, all meat was mostly just gristle or fat, rarely ate at hotel. There’s zero attention to guests after 9pm, Someone was far to drunk and sleeping in the lobby unable to walk and other guests got them back to their room, there was a scene with an unruly guest- running behind the lobby bar and jumping on top of it as well as luring a girl into the bathroom- zero security or care, it was left up to the guests to handle…but, security did scold me that i couldn’t have my plastic cup of drink i got from the swim up bar in the main pool and promptly took it out of my hand, priorities right… Guests frequently complained their rooms were not ready until 3pm, some got charged 600 pesos each to get their all inclusive wristbands early while they waited for their rooms, others waiting for rooms earlier did not get charged which is very suspicious

“Rules” about hotel guests were very poorly communicated. The “fine” dining food quality was aweful in comparison to the buffet. Don’t even bother with making reservations, just do the buffet. The only good experience was the friendly waiter and bar staff.

Found the workers in the common areas at this resorts rather rude and uncooperative. I could drink in the main pool here without my own cup..wth! Never got to drink even though It was all inclusive. I asked to go into the buffet at 9pm to get my 1 yr old granddaughter some snack and was told I couldn't. Not sure what all inclusive meant here.??? Never again!

Overall great stay. Gardens and outdoor spaces were well maintained. Nice view from the beach, though if you don’t like the smell of cigarettes it’s difficult to be on the beach with all the smokers. Rooms were not cleaned very thoroughly during our stay, and only the towels were ever replaced. Food was a hit and miss, some of our group had a hard time finding enough options at the buffet. Some communication issues with our dinner bookings, though they did their best to find a solution. Location was good, easy to bus around or find shuttles. Lots of other Canadians at the resort this time of year!

The property was safe and had lots of friendly acrivities. 15 5o 20 minutes feom the airport. Nightly different restaurant foods experience was fantastic.. Daily activities near the ocean was also fantastic... Foods was delicious and staff was fantastic.. Short or long this is the way how the vacatioj should be.

we like every things, but we check out at 11AM and we have to wait for pick up @3PM to go to the airport... suggestions should give atleast a snack. should give a free snack while waiting for the pick up,
