Great place to stay! Close to shopping, transport options. The studio apartments have everything you need. The hotel restaurant has amazing food and the staff are great. Hotel staff are always friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to family and friends!

I had a nice stay at Kingsgate. The property is old and dated but the staff is wonderful and accommodating. After I checked in I was informed there would be construction going on during the day. There were workers using the elevators and banging all day long for several days. I found that uncomfortable.

Walking distance to all things Queenstown and literally have a bus stop out the front for Shuttle service to the Ski Resorts or public buses to Arrowtown, Arthurs Pt and more. Able to access a shuttle service to Milford Sound etc. great location. Hotel itself has a nice restaurant had the pizza and beer/wine deal for $35 NZ and pizza was great. If nothing appeals to your liking on the menu less than 5min walk to the CBD of Queenstown. Super convenient.
