The overall place was clean and presentable. I stayed for five nights and the room service did not vacuum the room throughout my stay. Otherwise the cleanliness was par and the staffs at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The property location was good, quiet and easy access to the town. However the room was tiny with no place to store suitcases so navigating around the room was hard. The bathroom was also small with little space to put toiletries. There was a strange odour when entering the room. The check in process was long, especially considering they asked me to complete ID checks and provide credit card details before arrival via an online form. We also received a message saying hotel check in closed at 9.45pm which caused huge anxiety and frantic calls to the hotel as our expedia booked flight wasnt due to land until 9.15pm. Once we were able to contact the hotel they said check in is still available up until 11pm so I am not sure why we received the email causing panic.

Good value stay

The Ramada was a great base for us for exploring Queenstown. Very convenient location just a few mins from town and a bus stop to the airport right outside. Staff were very friendly. Room was good - we paid to upgrade to lake view and were a little disappointed by the big steel beam across the window but the view was still lovely. Temperature control was a bit of a challenge, I think the AC is slightly dated so it took a long time to reach temperature and was quite noisy. Also caused a lot of condensation in the room as ventilation wasn’t great, water was dripping and pooling overnight on the window due to condensation. I suppose difficult to avoid in that climate but did make the atmosphere feel and smell a bit damp. Overall, good stay for the price and would return

Really comfortable stay and the staff were really excellent, give them 6 stars. Maybe invest in some better in room tv entertainment more in line with 2025, relaxing/resting in your room to free to air ads got very boring

Small room that is very inefficiently designed. E.g. long corridor that is too wide to walk but to narrow to comfortably put luggage. Bathroom door opens to the inside, easily collides with shower glass door or hits the knees of anyone sitting on the toilet. Better communicate clearly. Lighting concept: very bright or very dark, nothing in-between. Little space to put luggage but almost no drawers to put clothing. Luggage can also not be placed under the bed (boxspring design). Very little space to walk around the bed and multiple obstacles (e.g. a pillar), so better be careful at night so that you don't bump into anything. I wouldn't recommend switching on the light though, because, again it's either super bringt or pitch black. The lights at the bed are very bright ceiling spots that directly target the eyes of both people in the bed (no separate control for each side). Neither the room nor the bathroom are too small in terms of total area but the design is just so bad that it feels very crammed. I haven't stayed in a hotel room this badly designed in a long long time. I have stayed in smaller rooms that were a far better experience. However, it was clean, good location, and had a good view (lake view room).

Perfect for a short stay. Clean rooms with a lovely lake view. Parking was limited and a little awkward but we appreciated the option, as there was very little street parking available.
