Amazing stay at this resort. Splurged on the privileged room and it was 100% with it. Francisco as our personal concierge was absolutely the best. He helped with every reservation, checked on us daily throughout the resort and was the icing on the cake of the whole stay. I can’t recommend this resort enough!

A la carte restaurants were excellent including the mayan diner and even the buffet was offering multiple different otpuons everyday. All pools were really clean and the resort was really well maintained (gardening and clean). The conciergerie (Elias) and the restaurant booking (Angelica Laura) really facilitate our stay and make us co sider to return next year at the same resort. Ramon the wedding coordinator was efficient and answered all our questions to plan a possible wedding there. Thanks ORP and Expedia

When we were in the buffet eating, we seen an employee grab utensils from a dirty table and and put them into the clean cart then put them on clean tables. We have pictures of this. Would not stay again. Discrimination when sitting at tables and serving. We got ignored multiple times.

This trip was extremely disappointing. The resort is advertised as five star but did not meet basic expectations. The property looks nice at first, but the details were severely lacking. Upon arrival, we were given a long “introduction” that was just a sales pitch for the Privilege package. When we declined the “free tour,” the staff member became rude and walked away. Bathrooms were hard to find, had few stalls, and were filthy. We saw grime, holes, no toilet paper, and even a cockroach. The games room was poorly maintained with broken consoles and ripped pool tables. The arcade, despite being in an “all inclusive” resort, cost at least $4 USD per game. Buffets were overcrowded, food was low quality, and service was very slow. We were often served drinks after our meals were finished. The à la carte restaurants were disappointing, especially the Mexican and Steakhouse. Pez Vela was the only highlight. Despite noting my peanut and fish allergies, I was served salmon and a peanut salad at the Japanese restaurant. Our room’s thermostat didn’t work all week, the bathroom smelled of mold, and the grout and caulking were black with buildup. One day, the mini-bar was missing water, and when we asked for replacements, the front desk accused us of lying, three times, because their notes said otherwise. Many dishes and cups were chipped, and the trolley was so unreliable we gave up on using it. We had high hopes for this vacation, but it was an experience we would not recommend.

when we arrived we’re waiting 1.5 hours for the luggage in room Notice how lady in the buffet after group of people finish eating come and pic up what she think clean knife’s and forks and put the on the card to the clean ones to use it again for new customers it is unsanitary On check out I ordered the bellboy to pic luggage at 12, no one showed up, give them a call, they say in 5 minutes, after 25 minutes no one showed up, called again to get answer we have no one available grab you luggage and walk to the lobby

In a few words: Overall it’s Not a 5 stars experience, the closest thing to that would be if you had a privileged guest membership without too high expectations. The food in most of the restaurants is good but staff service needs to improve. The installations and amenities are good, no complaints regarding cleanliness and maintenance The Spa facilities are ok , however staff service needs to improve Special mention to Israel and Angelica they made our experience better and also a special mention to “the chef’s table” a pleasant experience with exquisite food. Advise, book a reservation during the right season November to March to enjoy the beach and if you want the price to be worth it
