The service was amazing! Really liked the indigo section, preferred club pool, and the rooms. The food was average and the ocean was not swimmable (unless you enjoy swimming in seaweed) due to seaweed. The Italian restaurant was my favorite. They had great entertainment and kids activities

Hugo was an awesome bartender! Super friendly and efficient! Also Isiah helped us out a lot during our stay, and guided us through out the week with the resort’s amenities! The resort itself is beautiful. But very small. We had to be up at 6am to reserve a long chair, and towels! And there were no umbrellas by the beach, which lead us to tan no more than an hour. The food and service was good! Overall rate it a 4/5 family resort :) I definitely recommend the INDIGO New Building! The rooms and view are to die for… not to mention the rooftop … we definitely fell in love with it.

The entertainment team at the resort was truly exceptional, making it the highlight of our visit. People of all ages found joy in their activities. We had a blast dancing Zumba by the pool in the morning and salsa dancing in the evening with the incredible Hannia and Tony, who were absolutely fantastic!

Very good food variety and small restaurants of different cultures, lots of pool and on property entertainment and activities, day and night, no problem getting good drinks and wine variety and cocktails.only complaint was getting up at 6am to get a lounge chair in the pool area. Have to compliment Monica on being very guest friendly and working so hard with the other staff doing daily activities.

Positives first: The staff was amazing. They were all extremely friendly and helpful and were the best part of the resort. The food in all restaurants, except Barefoot Grill, was above average. They had great programs and activities for kids all day and night long. Negatives: The Preferred Customer upgrade was useless. The only thing it did was give access to a separate lounge. All other amenities that were listed as PC only were openly available to all guests. The grounds were not well-maintained and there was trash strewn about the ground at all times. The gym/fitness room was very small any weight-lifting equipment was old and barely functional.

This is our 5th time at Dreams Saphire (aka: Now Saphire). It needs an upgrade, the views and grounds are still beautiful.1. Birds poop on you while your lounging and attack you and your food while your eating it. At neighboring Dream Riviera this is not a problem. Seaweed mounds makes it impossible to swim in the ocean.2. The food is not bad, but all restaurants need an upgrade, Half of Portofino is so dark you can't see your food. The restaurants do not take reservations so after 5:45 you will wait 1-2 hours to be seated at every restaurant.3. At 6am people are scrambling to save pool lounge chairs.If chairs are unattended for 25 minutes security removes all of your items. Total hassle, bad vibes, if you walk on the beach or swim or eat at the snack bar you will lose your chair. 4,The buffet and restaurant staff are friendly, preferred club lounge and front desk could use more hospitality skills. They are unapologetic for mistakes made by their staff. I would only stay in the beach front swim out room because otherwise your vacation is stressful as you set a 6am alarm every morning for a seat at the pool where you guard your spot all day. Maybe the new Indigo Club is better, although I hear the adult roof deck is too windy to relax and swim. So disappointed as we have had so many wonderful family holidays at this resort.We miss the old Now Saphire that had a more friendly vibe and attitude towards the guests. We enjoyed our private swim out room,not the tropical view room
