The food, service, rooms, entertainment all was great for us at this location. The only downside was being greeted by whom we thought was hotel staff but it was staff for a travel membership (Unlimited vacation club) we were offered an opportunity to tour a 5 star facility secrets Maroma but it ended up being a lengthy 3 hour presentation to purchase a travel membership. I don’t suggest this being the first people your guests see and speak to when they come to the hotel as it’s a sales tactic but over all aside from that the hotel itself we would definitely visit again .

This resort was very family friendly. Lots of activities to do - for both adults and kids! The beach was nice - not the cleanest in terms of biological matter. Lots of walking to get places as it is a large resort. Overall - would recommend if you are looking for a safe place to stay in Mexico.

The property is well maintained. Very nice pool area, average beach area. The service was great, friendly, courteous staff. The restaurant menus were very limited as was room service. I stayed in the indigo preferred section. It was very nice but beware that their preferred does not come with butler service. I’ve stayed at other resorts under this brand like Secrets and Breathless and the preferred rooms included a butler. Also, for the amount of money you pay to be in the indigo preferred, all of the preferred club amenities should have been included. It was annoying to have to pay extra to use the Balinese beds at the rooftop pool.

Dreams Sapphire was soooo amazing! It was a very safe and laid back property. Great option for families or couples. We did the preferred option which I highly highly reccomend. You get access to the adult only pool with complimentary Bali beds if you book a day ahead. I can not say enough good things about the staff! The adult pool had Jose and Resendas and they were AMAZING!!! Jose was so attentive and made us feel so well taken care of. Resendas made the most amazing drinks and would surprise us everyday with fun new drinks. They were tasteful and not like drinking gasoline. The pool was clean and quiet. They do a good job at looking after the area. The restaraunts were amazing. Our favourite was Portofino with amazing Italian options. Daniel was our waiter a couple nights and he took amazing care of us. I would go there just for him! The blue water grill (preferred) was so good and right on the ocean. Definitely wear your hair up when eating there as the ocean breeze will catch up to you! The service at all the dining options was not the quickest, be prepared to wait. The waiters were still amazing and friendly I feel they just lack staff and it adds long wait times. The entertainment was great. Lots of things to do at all hours of the day. Kid friendly options that adults are more than welcome to join in! Great evening opportunities! We loved dancing with the team every night. Nice resort, great staff. Nice beach and pool, fun for kids. Only issue we had was 3 of 4 of us got food poisoning and the 2nd family we traveled with had 2 of 4 with food poisoning. We’ve travelled to Mexico 4 times previous and to DR and never had food poisoning like that.

Food wasn’t good. Disappointed that the food was not Authentic Mexican food. Too American for me. If I’m traveling to Mexico and eating Mexican food I expect it to be Mexican not Americanized. Not enough dining options. 2 restaurants were adults only. If that’s the case just make it all adults resort then. The rooms smelled moldy too.

We like everything at this resort this is our second time staying here. For us everything was a short walking distance from our room to the main lobby area, main bar and preferred club lounge. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I will say if you don't get to the restaurant's early when they open at 6, you will be put on a waiting list and that wait could be anywhere from an hour to an hour and half. Food was ok. Nightly entertainment was ok. Seaweed was manageable some days better than others but they do try and keep it at a minimum. Weather was great the whole time.

The staff, from all sections were SUPER FRIENDLY. The French & Asian restaurants were my favourite. The food, staff & entertainment were simply AMAZING. I highly recommend this beautiful resort.

Accommodations were above average, located on a gorgeous beach near the national park reef. The staff, pool and outdoor facilities (including roaming agouti & coatimundi) were charming and very usable. The restaurants were very good, enjoyed many ethnic & local foods. Service was excellent! Communicating my gluten allergy was problematic, starting a month before arrival, but staff were not informed & foods were not labelled. I ate a hamburger (no bun) at the poolside grill that made me ill; after reporting it, concierge, manager & chef could not tell me if their burgers contained gluten, but took extra good care of me (after I got ill), sending hot consumé & rice to my room. I got a call noon the next day to NOT eat the burgers, and staff offered to make me a special meal, gluten-free hamburger & fries, just for my needs-that made me feel well cared for!

The property was fine. It was one large pool it seemed like, unless you were an indigo/preferred member. The weather was disappointing but that's not the resort's fault. The staff was so-so. I've stayed at other all- inclusive resorts and the staff elsewhere was much more hospitable and attentive. It was nice and they did have a taco stand which was delicious.
