Very good value- we felt safe and we had an incredible view of mountains but it was looking over a busy street- the breakfast had fresh fruit and good eggs and rice. Nice to have a gym and a pool table.

Good start for an Ecuadorian adventure

The hotel location is close to restaurants. Easy to get to historical center. Breakfast was excellent and have a nice view of the city. Gym is well equipped.

The Zen Hotel was great. They had a hard time finding my reservation at first but that happens at times. We had 2 rooms during our stay with both being Deluxe Studios with 1 King Bed with sofa bed. The rooms were nice. One had a beautiful view of the city. The room was nice and the bath room had good hot water. WiFI was excellent as well. The breakfast buffet was nice and there were plenty of options. The staff was great. They spoke English and were able to help with our needs. There was armed security at the main entrance and this made my family feel even more safe during our stay. The kids loved the hotel and I would recommend the Zen Hotel to anyone looking to visit Quito.

Lack Seriousness

The hotel is very well located and comfortable. My biggest complaint is that the information on the website and provided when you contact the hotel directly isn't clear, and when you arrive at the property, they tell you something else. I traveled with a service dog. The website stated that there was no charge for staying with one. When I contacted the property directly, they told me the cost was $11.50 for the entire reservation, and when I checked in, they charged me an additional $10 per night. The hotel is incredibly unreliable about all the different information they provide about staying with a service animal. They lack seriousness with their guests.

Would stay again at the Zen Quito Hotel!

I had a great stay at the Zen Quito Hotel. My favorite thing about the hotel was the shower, immaculately clean and had one of those over head/rain shower type heads. The breakfast was delicious and the offerings change from one day to another, variety is nice! Would recommend to anyone staying in Quito.
