Hilton supports Israel?

Very uncomfortable experience at this hotel. I was absolutely floored to find magazines located throughout the reception and placed prominently on tables that celebrated the relationship between ISRAEL and Ecuador. I spoke with reception and explained that I was offended and shocked to see these magazines. She said ‘yes we know what Israel is doing’ and removed two of them, I found more magazines scattered on the tables the next day and was highly disappointed. To celebrate a state that has killed an estimated 400,000 innocent civilians, is starving over two million men, children and babies is despicable. Shame on the Hilton. My stay at this hotel was very much affected and I felt very uncomfortable seeing these magazines, I will not go back to this hotel that supports Israel.

This hotel is a good value for the money. There was a private taxi service on site, but the driver didn't speak English. I feel he gouged us when we were charged $30 US just to drive us to the Wyndham Hotel just down the block. We continued using his services as he was convenient. We had to check out at 2 am the day of our departure. We would have welcomed a To Go Breakfast in a bag, but none was offered.

Great stay

We enjoyed our 2 nights and thought the hotel was comparable to a nice hotel in the United States. Great service and clean. We felt welcomed and it was nice that much of the staff spoke English. We used the gym and kids played fuse ball and ping pong. The only thing that needed improvement was the food. Wish they had a few more American food options like pancakes for breakfast . Lunch menu had pizza, hamburgers and wings but the flavors are different than what we are accustomed to. Pizza needed to have more sauce and less cheese. Overall it was a great stay and I strongly recommend the hotel for travelers.

Location of this hotel is quite inconvenient as customers can't get to the parking lot from the main street. Getting to the hotel from the airport is also troublesome since customers must drive an additional 7 min to make a U-turn

The front desk representative appeared to be not at all familiar with billing procedures for reservations made through Expedia. After first insisting I pay the full amount of the booking at the desk, she then insisted, upon my presenting her proof of payment to Expedia, that I pay an extra $12 above the rate quoted by Expedia to make up the difference between their normal nightly rate and the rate quoted by Expedia.
