There were only 2 elevators working for a tall building with lots of floors. After waiting for a long period of time, we ended up walking up 3 flights of stairs with suitcases in order to get to our room. We had to do that several times, but at least we didn’t have our luggage with us each time. There was no explanation from staff. No one re-directing elevator traffic. We felt lucky to only be on the 3rd floor and only staying 1 night. Otherwise, I would have gone elsewhere.

Everything was great! Casino/bar wise, not so much. The “Lounge” bartender is rude, ignores you, overcharges you, and is more worried about flirting and talking about food places with some drunk rando than taking care of paying “higher end drink purchasing” customers.

My room in the resort tower was very nice. Staff was very friendly. Hotel itself is a little noisy with the freeway on one side and the railroad yard on the other.

I had to wait 3 hours to check in and I arrived at 5:30PM. I was told the front desk would call me when my room was ready, they didn’t call, I had to check myself several times. No comp was even offered and I had to pay more than was listed on the Expedia reservation. I’ve been going to the Nugget for years and I was treated terribly. I’m so disappointed, I’m going to need to stay elsewhere in the future, probably Peppermill.

Spotless room. Quick check in. Friendly staff. The only two critiques are that the pillows are a tad hard…. And the coffee at Rosie’s Cafe should be Starbucks and not what they currently serve. The rack rate with taxes/fees was very competitive. We’ll continue coming here!
