I would give give this property a 5, except there is no separate hotel check-in area. Because of this, you still get the smoke smell from the casino when checking in. Once to the room, the smell is no longer there. We checked in at 9 PM, and checked out the next morning at 9, so our time spent there was very short. However, we had no complaints.

Water in the sink was brown, my kids almost brushed their teeth in it. Had to let it run for 30mins before brushing teeth. Shooting happened in the lobby during our stay. 1st floor was blocked off for some time. While at the casino didn’t feel like it was enough security guards, my favorite time to play is during 1am-5am and crackheads were just letting themselves in asking the most ridiculous questions and kept circling back. Felt like I had to keep watching my back.

My daughter and I traveled together for her birthday! We stayed on the side of the hotel, where the train tracks were. Not only were there trains running , but there is also a junkyard with large metal containers coming in at all hours of the day. When these are emptied and they dropped to the ground, they make really loud & starting noises. It made it very hard to sleep so my daughter moved to the other side. In this room she had no heat, she literally went with no heat in her room for six days. It could get as low as 30° in March. Some days she only had lukewarm water in the shower and was told that was “because now the hotel is at full capacity. So water is not as hot as normal.”😳 maintenance came to try and fix the issue, but it was not fixed and she was told it would be very difficult to move because hotel was at full capacity. Then there was an unauthorized charge on my credit card, when I asked about it, I was told I must’ve gone to a restaurant and forgotten or that it was from Hotels.com, when it clearly stated that charge came from the nugget hotel. The front desk was no help at all and two of the women were very rude to my daughter, as she was helping me to inquire about what this charge could be. After getting home, I called the accounting department. We realized that in fact, The $300 plus charge was a fraudulent charge made by someone in the hotel. The matter is still being investigated. This was a very disappointing stay.

Everything was good except the next morning we could only get one shower that was cooling down toward the end at about 7:30. Was too cool for the next shower an hour later. Checking out at the front desk we advised them of this, they shrugged and said sorry. Not sure if that info will go any farther than the shrug.

While my kid n I was staying at the nuggets there was a shooting there no one told anybody what was going on or what had happened until u tried going to the blocked off area. Got told what had happened by a stranger.....other than that it was a nice stay
