Excellent Loccation

When I said that I had a walker, they assigned me to the first level in order to make it easier for my whole stay. The hotel's location is fantastic. It is opposite Reykjavik's famous church and within easy walking distance of the restaurant Kol (creative presentation and taste) and the optional Loki.

Lovely Leif Erikson

The hotel was very comfortable, and the staff was very nice. The room was fine, as well. The only drawback was that they had no elevator. Three flights of stairs with bags was no fun! But the location was great!

Stayed here twice on our trip we liked it so much! Right downtown can walk to anything and everything! Room was clean, beds were comfy and the hotel receptionist was very nice!!!! Would stay here every day if I could

Right in front of the big church, convenient location. I was out on the 4th floor, no elevator. Shower room was a part of the toilet room and need to remove pretty much everything so the water won’t get to them. I was only here for 2 nights so it served the purpose.

perfect location

This hotel is right across from the Hallgrimskirkja. Perfect location. Just a 2-3 minute walk to famous Rainbow Street. Staff very helpful. We were on the top floor. It was a very small room, but there for the trip, not to stay in room. Bathroom small, lighting could have been better. We were comfortable...difficult to rate mattress d/t everyone's personal preference. But it wasn't rock hard or so soft we were sinking in it. Breakfast buffet includes eggs, fruit, breads, meats, pastries. We recommend this hotel d/t location. It is at bus stop #8, so if taking bus shuttle from airport, it is a one minute walk to hotel.

Room was micro-sized. Shower was similar to a small yacht shower entirely within the micro lavatory separated by a shower curtain. Shower floor was the same floor as the bathroom floor. Slippery floor in the shower equals slippery floor in the entire tiny bathroom. Bed against one wall with about two feet clear on the access side.

Excellent hotel. Great staff. Great location. The church is like a beacon so you cannot get lost. Lots of great eating places to walk, and great shopping too. Convenient to the bus station for to/from the airport. Highly recommend.
