Perfect

We stayed in the one of the junior suites just located around the corner from the main hotel. The suite was spacious,clean and perfect for what we needed. We didn’t take up the breakfast option, instead we took a trip to the local Bónus store to buy provisions for breakfast and dinner. We had dressing gowns,hairdryer, microwave, two job rings, coffee machine(topped up daily) and milk and juice in the fridge all free of charge. It was in a perfect location a minutes walk to bus stop 7 for pick ups for excursions and airport transfers. I highly recommend Reykjavík Residence Hotel.

Great hotel in a good location, short walk to everything. Self contained apartments with everything you need on your stay. We only stayed a few nights but would come back for a longer stay at this hotel! Very clean and modern, lovely room and lots provided in the kitchen. Room was tidied and cleaned everyday.

Nice hotel very close to centre

Pros: Very good location and quiet. Hardly heard any noise even though it was busy.
Cons: none
Location: Located in the city centre we were only a minute away from the main shopping area with all amenities that you require.
Just returned from a short break. Was originally going to travel with Tui until they changed details at the last minute.Booked on line and glad we did as the hotel was much better and closer to the centre than original hotel. Would definately use this hotel again. We were located in the suites which was a very short walk away from the main hotel but this did not pose any problems. Staff even walked us us there on arrival which was nice. Hotel was comfortable and had everything required for a short break.

A little gem in heart of Reykjavik

great find - perfect for a long weekend for people who are looking to explore the city and go on excursions- not for someone who wants 5 * luxury hotel experience but for someone who wants a 5* base with all amenities and centrally located - it is perfect. Location is 100 just off the main shopping street - excellent choice of restaurants, bars and shopping. Room cleaned daily to high standard, fresh juice, milk and cereal provided daily. 24 hour reception- friendly staff- then again all Icelandic people I met where Good value for money - you wont be disappointed
