Our stay at the Residence Hotel was perfect - having a little apartment made us feel like we lived in Reykjavik! The property and room were clean, well maintained, and nicely furnished. It is directly off of the main road so plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We signed up for the daily breakfast, which was amazing. Some of the best bread and cheese we've ever had. We will return again!

Seamless check in and check out using the Flexipass app. Room was clean, and kitchenette included everything that you expect in a holiday apartment. We loved the bread from Sandholt bakery as part of the breakfast basket. Would definitely stay here again when in Reykjavik.

We absolutely loved our stay. As a family of four with two older children, the location was ideal—within easy walking distance of most major sights, especially Hallgrímskirkja. There were plenty of dining options nearby, and having a Bónus grocery store just steps away was incredibly convenient. Our unit was modern, clean, and very comfortable. It featured a main bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed in the living area, which worked perfectly for our family. The bathroom was spacious, and we appreciated the well-designed kitchen area integrated into the living space, complete with a small dining area. While we could hear the howling wind outside at times, it was never an issue. We used our own speaker to play sleep music, and the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs as well. The staff were truly exceptional, and we couldn’t have asked for better service. They made our stay even more enjoyable.

We stayed at the prime minister’s house. It was in the perfect location. Close to everything and around the corner to bus stop #6, where we picked up our tours and the fly bus back to the airport. Room was clean and spacious. Loved the kitchen where we cooked some meals which was great since food is so expensive. The only negative was the lighting in the room was inadequate. A little dark for older eyes. While I enjoy cozy lighting, an option for brighter lighting would have been nice. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.

This place deserves 10 stars. Our experience was so good, we decided to extended our stay instead of traveling around the island. The room was very clean and spacious. The bedding was premium and very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and also spacious. The kitchen also had everything you need for a quick fix. They have a small fridge, and a dishwasher. The room had a steamer and a blow dryer. I was traveling with my daughter and we always felt safe. The staff was very professional, I can’t say enough good things about them and specially Miguel. They made our trip better with their kindness and professionalism. We got completely breakfast goodies in the room and bread delivered to our door every morning. The location was also perfect. Walkable, quiet during speeding hours despite the construction, we were not disrupted. I recommend staying at Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel 100%.
