Old and run down hotel. Paid a high price because of the time of year. Air conditioning rattled the windows so it was a choice of being hot or the room being quiet. Everything a bit old and dated and damaged. Location was good.

Hotel room full of cockroaches, keycards never worked to the rooms, the breakfast was terribke, elevator was terrible, not allowed to bring guests back so my friends couldn’t even stay, the air con was awful and generally a waste of money.

The ROACHyalty hotel! DONT GO THERE! I didn’t see the reviews and I wish that I would’ve. The staff was good but the hotel is in terrible condition. It has roaches and they know it but it’s like normal to them. They want to spray the room when you’re not there. Their wifi only works in the lobby. The key cards stop working all the time.

Bad wifi, a bit outdated and old sheets and comfort. Charged extra for luggage storage on checkout day. Affordable even tho the street was a bit sketchy. Next time I would pick iPanama area which I heard and felt is more safer!

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. There was no toilet paper, the Wi-Fi did not work, and the bathroom had mold and was very dark. The mattress was old and smelled unpleasant. Additionally, my guest was not allowed to come upstairs just to wait for me, which has never happened in any other hotel I’ve visited in Brazil or abroad.

Overall, my stay at this property was an average experience. The highlight of my visit was breakfast, thanks to a humble and well-mannered young gentleman who works in the breakfast area each morning. His professionalism and courteous demeanor truly stood out - commendations to him. However, I believe the hotel could improve in terms of transparency regarding additional charges for certain amenities, such as consuming beverages from the in-room minibar. Clearer communication about these potential costs would be appreciated, especially for English-speaking guests who may not be familiar with the policies.

The space was beautiful it was the lack of comfort. I stayed my last night and ended up being in the lobby for the last 3 hours of my stay because the room was a sauna. hen i called the front desk they stated that there was nothing they could do being that there was no extra rooms. So I waited in the lobby where the temp was tolerable. After i had to pay for the items consumed (water due to the excessive heat) and when i paid the front desk staff tried o short me $R40, when i told them they swore that maybe i made a mistake. That was impossible especially cause he handed me te $ I counted and immediately approached him when I noticed the error. I wasn’t able to enjoy my breakfast that i paid or in my reservation. This hotel is also not conveniently close to the beach as other hotels that were a éter stay, this would be a last resort for me, you can find better.

What I will say about the Royalty Copacabana is that the staff was very nice to me. I also like the location. I happened to get a room overlooking the mountain which was gorgeous. Additionally, the continental breakfast was generous. What I did not like was that there were roaches (and not the tropical roaches that cannot be avoided). Additionally, the Wi-Fi was almost inoperable which was scary because I had work to do. Additionally, the room finishes are quite outdated, with limited sockets and no usb ports. The fitness center was not accessible during my stay.

Totally horrible from the beginning to the end. The room was bad smelling and badly cleaned. The toilet was not flushing and we had to live with this for 2 days. The staff was very ignorant and not serviceminded at all. Not resolving the toilet issue.The breakfast was very bad and the foid was cold.Charging extra for safe and early check in of 200rs. Cannot recommend this hotel for anyone.

Hotel entrance was nice but once we got to the room it was dirty and filthy! There were 2 cockroaches but when we contacted the stuff they said it was normal. The shower were dirty and I didn’t want to step a foot inside we were scared of fungus and contagious deseases. They didn’t provided a charged due to the outlets are different, they refused a late check out, they charged us money to keep the luggage’s for a late pick up, overall an awful experience and I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

- Guests must be aware: - there is no room service and soap property; - staff are rude about room service. I also had a big problem there. On my check out a staff member told my partner and I ...that on the check in. They did charge less and we had to fix there mistake (this was after 3 days that we where there). I didnt accept his mistake... was there problem. Sorry! I had an international fight and if they had made a mistake... is because the staff has no training or attention. Be aware of this hotel service. I really dont recommend. - no room service; - staff are rude; - payment in a wrong way.
